Dr. Who is the first TV series I have bothered to keep up with since BW ended, and I had a moment of random curiosity as to which actor people prefer as the Doctor on the newest version of the series: Chris Eccleston, or David Tennant? Any particular reason why, in either case?
I prefer David Tennant for his slightly reckless demeanor and interesting facial expressions; he raises that left eyebrow of his like it's an art
As an aside, Rose is apparently leaving the show Anyone know any rumors on how they'll replace her role?
I really liked Chris and was sad to see him go, but David's definitely grown on me, so much so that I think I prefer him. He's more kooky and light-hearted. I used to dislike Rose, but now I'll be dismayed to see her leave. I rather liked the touch of romance she added to the first season, and she's quite unpredictable sometimes. I haven't seen as much of the second season as the first, but from what I have seen, I think the writing in the first was better.
I disagree,i thought chris was the best actor out of the two. Whereas david can over-act,chris kept perfectly cool with his acting and was loved by people of all ages everywhere.
