So I haven't seen the new movie yet, however I am very keen. I just watched the original pilot episode and loved every second of it. I have deduced that I am most assuredly Hannibal as the cheekiness and penchant for costumes just strikes such a familiar chord with me

Is anyone a fan of the old school or has anyone seen the movie? If so, what do you think about the new version?

I am a big fan of the A-team. Strangely enough, the pilot episode uses an actor for Face who you never actually see again. And Face is the one who's really into the disguises. Also, the pilot is one of what I would consider the show's weakest episodes (because it's finding its feet), so if you liked it, there is even better stuff ahead of you.

I've also had the chance to see the new movie. It was o.k. for me, and I can't put my finger on why I didn't enjoy it more than that. Maybe... not as much character interaction as the show? I don't know.

And since I don't know, then it'd be better for you to listen to my siblings anyways, who are familiar with the show and seemed to love the movie. A lot. And I do honestly think you will too. You should go see it.

EDIT: I just read in the Frankenstein thread that you have made it 3/4ths of the way through the first season already, so I suppose you already know most of what I told you. How do you like it?

Yeah I noticed that about Face, but fair enough, such is the way of pilots I still remember Delenn in Babylon 5 looking really weird and haggard for their pilot then the prettified her up for the actual series

I know what you mean about so much goodness throughout the series. I have determined that if I am stuck in a life and death situation, I want both MacGuyver and the A Team by my side. Effectively, the A Team do as a group what MacGuyver does on his own

I'm annoyed as I have missed out on it at the movies, but maybe thats not such a bad thing as I can watch it in the "proper" order and then make up my mind on it that way

OH YEAH! Complete forgot about the Burn Notice crew! Could you imagine Mr T working with Bruce Campbell? Brilliant!

Yeah, they pulled it from cinemas last wednesday so pretty annoying that. It only lasted a couple of weeks. Tis a shame.
