First off, and this might upset a few ppl........did anyone else know that Don S. Davis, our beloved General George Hammond of Stargate SG-1......died?!
My sister told me about it yesterday. She was looking up Stargate on imdb and read it under the newest Stargate 'movie' info! It actually brought a tear to my eye, he seemed like such a nice fella. And it's strange to take in, as only last week I saw him in an episode of NCIS.

Sorry, that was depressing. But I just can't believe it.
Anyway, officially, 'Stargate Continuum' is 2nd of two movies set after the last episode of Stargate SG-1. I haven't seen it yet (so SH!), but apparently it was a big let-down. I mean, no Jack? From that, I can just guess...
Anyway, these two movies (one of which I have, but didn't watch bcoz it focused on the bloomin' Orai DX) are said to be a more reassuring ending to the series. Especially Continuum. I think it's about something like going back to time to prevent someone evil from stopping the Stargate program ever existing! It has Jack in it! Yay! And it is also the last project Don S. Davis worked on before he had a heart attack. He died shortly after filming. *Is crying real tears now*
Reviews have said it's a good (better, at least) send-off. Now my sister and I are going to watch the whole damn series from where we left off, 'cause we don't actually know what happened with the Orai. But I was ok with that, because I really didn't like the whole Orai continuity. And Cameron Mitchell is alright, but really, what's Stargate without good ol' Jack O'Neill?
If you have or haven't seen it/them, no spoilers, please! But any SG fan out there (I KNOW you are! Hehe) please give me your thoughts. I would elaborate (*on that? Is she crazy?*) but it's late and I've got a bust day/week ahead of me. Friend is staying for a week, and we've got a play/movie planned for every day.

P.s. RIP Don S. Davis
