Well for me, Garry was the main reason why I got into Transformers in the place.
I watched a little of TF: Armada a couple of years back and loved his voice, Its individual, deep and can go from sincire to commanding in flash.
I did some research on Garry and got into the whole Transformers thing....I can't believe I overlooked Beast Wars when it was in original syndication! Its one of the best cartoons of the nineties! Excellent writing which led to excellent performances. Wholly underrated in my opinion.
I really like Garry's rendiction of Prime, it has just as much justification as Cullens. Its not Garrys fault that he had bad scripts with little room for manoevre with the ADR, I think his performance came out pretty good considering that, which just shows what a professional he is.
Ultimately, what I love about him is that that he seems just an average guy; theyre's no pretention with him, just down to earth...he seems the type you can have a coffee and a lengthy disscussion with.
He's just an incredibily versitile actor, his range his outstanding. Both in voice and live-action. All those varied performance roles hes had over the years, all that experience really shows. I hope he continues to get larger live action roles, as with his talent theres no question that he couldn't handle it.
So, um, if you couldn't gather already, he's got a great deal of respect from me, in terms of his acting ability and what hes like as a person. Like many on here, i'd love to meet him. And if you're ever in my area, Garry, you're welcome for a 'cuppa anytime. *laughs*
