For the record, no, I can't say I'm ready to make a return just yet -- I still have a number of things to sort out before I can say that I'm back for sure -- but I had to drop this line in here, even after such a long absence, because of something I saw that I figured most of you might be interested in. I've also posted this in a couple other places, and I'll also give a warning... your wallets probably won't forgive you for months.
Some of you already know I am, even though I've been absent for almost a year. In any case, to those who don't know me, I live near Vancouver BC Canada (the same location where the BW show was created), and in the mall where I work, there's a popular collector's store called Ages 3 & Up (which I've mentioned a few times in the past). They sell all sorts of toys and action figures of just about anything you can imagine, new and old alike. And yes, a BIG part of their stock encompasses TFs in general. Well, get this; right after I finished my shift at work yesterday, I dropped by the store and was totally shocked by what my optic scanners detected... probably one of the biggest stocks of classic BW toys -- STILL in their packaging! -- that I've seen in one place, outside of BotCons.
At the time I snapped these pics, most of the new (well, old, but never opened) classic BW stock was on the tables on the store, but not priced yet (so I'm thinking most of them must be priced by now). But I did get permission to snap a number of pics, to show anyone who may be interested in what the store has brought in.
And you wouldn't believe all the stuff that I saw, all in one pile. Optimus Primal. Megatron. Scorponok. Terrorsaur. Tigatron. Airrazor. Silverbolt. Transmetals, both "1" and 2. Fuzors. TM2 Blackarachnia (who was almost impossible to find). Japanese-only BW Ravage (who's even MORE impossible to find). and piles, Piles, PILES more! I'm linking the pics, to ease up on loading time for users....
First look at the tables: http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b94/O ... ttable.jpg

And finally, a Japanese Dinobot, a Japanese Rhinox, and a North American Rampage!

So if any of you want to get in touch with the store and see if you can buy/order anything from this gold mine (bear in mind, because they're unopened toys from about 10 years ago, the prices may be VERY steep, especially Ravage and TM2 BA), here's the A3&U website: http://www.agesthreeandup.com/ Contact info should be pretty easy to find on the front page, and the owner, named Spencer Wilson, does in fact ship internationally (I've personally known him for seven years). At the time I was there, most of the stuff wasn't priced yet, and he doesn't have much staff in the store, so if you do decide to buy any of the stuff from this stash, please be VERY patient (it will also depend on what's still available at the time).
And for now, I'll have to disappear; like I said before, I've still got some other things that I need to smooth out first, before I can even think of making a full-fledged return yet. I just hope that won't take too long.

Yeah, I've wanted Ravage for a while. I looked on their site, and I didn't see him on cyber-sale. Although the Ian Corlett signed Cheetor looks cool, especially, since I've just plain wanted a transmetal Cheetor for a while. Hmm, lots of good stuff there.
I understand... you are, after all, a predacon.

Yeah I found Ravage here for sale for $159...
Well it's not a great price but still beats what you can find on EBay anyway.
Nonetheless, thanks for the wonderful tip, Outtsyder.
Now that I think about it, I just had a chance to revisit the mall last October... can't believe I missed it!
Guess I'll have to wait till my next visit back..

Hehe. xD We Scandinavians have our own one-man BW/BM store here. xD Osku tends to sell lots of BW/BM figures all the time, and I've bought all of mine from him (so far I have TM2 Prowl, BW Snarl, Air Hammer, Sky Shadow, TM Cheetor, Jawbreaker, Sonar, Insecticon, Drill Bit, Airazor, KO Tigatron, BM Snarl, BM Quickstrike and Tankor... xD And multiple charas from other shows.).
