I am.....Batman....

no that's not right.

My name is Nick or Nicholas if you must have the full name.

From Safeguard's site

NICHOLAS

Gender: Masculine

Usage: English, French

Pronounced: NI-ko-las (English), nee-ko-LA (French) [key]
From the Greek name Νικολαος (Nikolaos) which meant "victory of the people" from Greek νικη (nike) "victory" and λαος (laos) "people". Saint Nicholas was a 4th-century bishop from Anatolia who, according to legend, saved the daughters of a poor man from lives of prostitution. He is also known as Santa Claus (from Dutch Sinterklaas), the bringer of Christmas presents. He is the patron saint of children, sailors and merchants, and Greece and Russia. Nicholas was also the name of two czars of Russia and five popes.

It's a ton of things, masculine, informal, common, strong, and simple among them.

*blinky blink* Holy cheese, there's another Christine??

Yup, yup, that's my name too: Christine. I'm not too fond of it since it sounds proper and stuffy. I was apparently named after my mom's friend Christine, who was The Perfect Lady. Any of you who know me know that's as far from me as the moon. I'm too WEIRD to be a proper lady!!!! *giggles and drools madly*

*laughs* OMG real names just aren't as much fun to squeal as screen names, Nurann! Besides, anybody can be a Kelsey, but I know there's only one Nurann! *hugs*

It confuses the daylights out of anyone else in the vicinity when screen names are used. I dunno about you guys, but screen names seem more natural, or, (dare I say it?) normal than real names, cuz for the most part the identity of my friend is attached to the first name I knew them by.

If that makes sense. >_>

*as Rampage runs by cackling with a frozen chicken*

. . . . . O_o And that makes LESS sense. >___< Rampage, you said you'd stop that!!!!

For some reason I can't stop thinking about His Dark Materials now that you said that. :?

*giggles* Well Jag, I wouldn't be the one to say that unless there was another Starath. I WOULD do something similar if there was a Jag in the room....

Actually, my friend's mom calls me Starath. It's not uncommon among friends, but REALLY weird coming from adults. It's to avoid confusion, though, since my friend's sister is also named Christine.

That's why I like my screen name. It's practically one of a kind!

Rampage: *is egg-splatted* . . . . . o__o? >__> *goes back to cackling and carrying frozen chickens*

*siiiigh* My Rampage is so weird. O_o
