RI is Rhode Island, right MD? If that's so, did you know Botcon '07 is taking place in Providence, Rhode Island? Will you attend that?
I know more people live in Europe than the one vote the poll has seen, but I'm hoping as time goes by others will notice the poll and add their vote. I know people who visit Bwint who are from Sweden, Romania, Denmark, Poland, Bulgaria, Norway and the Netherlands.
Hi there everyone! I'm from Mexico, actually living in the capital Mexico City. I love living here, there's always somewhere to go since the city is sooooo Big. I like the traditional music, and I'm very proud of the culture since prehispanic ocupation till these days. I like also the food, give me a super spicy taco, and some chilly! hahaha. I enjoy taking the subway to the center of the city. There you can walk through the memorial parks, or visit the Cathedral, there are tons of museums, and also there are some places where you can actually watch remains of the Aztec culture. The only thing that makes this place bad is the overcrowding, I believe whe're only behind Tokyo or something like that!
However I had the chance to watch the Beast Wars when I was like 10 years old or so, and since it hooked me. Although as you may have guessed I watched them first in spanish, and then I got the chance of getting my hands on some DVD's which are english only. I do like them but I miss the voices I got familiarised with when I watched in Spanish.
I don't know but I think I'm the only guy from Mexico here at BWINT. So correct me if I'm wrong!

I believe that unarmed truth and unconditional love will have the final word in reality. This is why right, temporarily defeated, is stronger than evil triumphant. — Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
As you all probably know from some of the posts, I come from Finland, the land of a thousand lakes and freezing winters.
Well, there's not much I like about my country. I say I hate winter, and that I do, but I'm also very proud about myself (what word do you use in a sentence like this?) being very cold-resistant. I haven't frozen stiff, though my fingers have lost their feeling on a couple of occasions.
Ah, I just love Lapland and it's fells. They're wonderful places during summer.
Btw, I was ten years old when during one summer I and my father went on a hiking trip called Karhunkierros Trail. It was 80 km long and it took us four days to complete the trip. You can get info on the Trail here: http://www.luontoon.fi/page.asp?Section=7494
It was awesome! A 10-year-old hiker with a backpack of 8 kilograms traveling 10 kilometers a day over hills, raging rapids and across meadows and swamps...
Karhunkierros Trail can be divided into 4 sections, which each have demanding and non-demanding parts. There is much to see nature-wise and you will find new sights to admire all the time. There are mires, cliffs, herb-rich forests, dry pine forests, meadows and much more, such as Oulanka National Park’s scenic spots, which includes roaring rapids sheltered by an ancient cliff wall.

I’m from the land of the Warrior kings of the North aka Norway, though I’ve lived in both Mexico and the US (in Florida to be precise) my soul belongs to the ocean and the frozen north that is my home.
Absolutely love the nature here, the way the mountains plunge into the sea, the fjords eating into the land, the Aurora Borealis dancing over the frozen winter nights sky that seems to never end, the way the sunsets seem to be never ending burning away the sky. The forests clinging to the mountains seemingly caught in an eternal struggle for survival in some places!
The stream, rivers, lakes, I could go on for a long time.
I liked the nature of Mexico and Florida, but my heart belongs to Norway. I really don’t know why, cause I don’t really have roots anywhere.
I’d much rather to be hated for who I am than loved for who I’m not.
