I have a new community project here! X3 No drawing, all writing, and nothing too lengthy.
(Don’t worry, I’m catching up in the RP. D: About halfway to the most recent posts. :3 )

Warning: Stasis Pod Orbit Has Decayed. Planetfall in T Minus 22 Cycles….
Rhinox froze in his seat, then spun around to face the monitor directly across the room. This was completely unexpected - he hadn’t calculated another pod falling for at least another month!
Barely a moment later, he was at the controls with half a dozen bots crammed behind him, crowding the screen and the rhino’s workspace.
“Where’s it gonna fall, Rhinox!?”
“Rhinox, calculate its trajectory and find the expected coordinates for planetfall. We have to get there before the Predacons do.”
“If it lands to the North, we may reach it first. The winter storms are raging and will slow the flyers down immensely.”
“We ain’t got all day, Big Green! Where’s it gonna hit?”
“Optimus, if we gotta bug quick, I’m right behind you out those blast doors!”
“Quickly, Rhinox! Tarantulas must have already detected its movement!”
“Understood, Airazor. Thanks.”
“Ya don’t have ta push ‘im, Chopperface! He’s goin’!”
“My apologies. I was not aware pushing was inappropriate, considering someone is actually sitting on himin an effort to hasten his calculations!!!”
“Ugh, do you two really have to fight now? Totally lame.”
“Correct. We have a comrade out there who needs our help! …Not our strife.”
“I understand that! Which is precisely why I am eager to know the location of this pod! It seems, however, that the rhinoceros has indeed slowed his efforts and needs prompting!”
“He don’t need prompting, ya prehistoric replica! He’s Rhinox! He works his digits to the wire! Prompting, my furry little - ”
“That’senough! This is serious! Rhinox, would you please - ”
“Maybe if I had some quiet from my ‘audience’, and just a little more space, you’d all have your answers in just - another - MOMENT!!”
Silence.
Minus the rat on his head and the various voices booming in his audios, Rhinox was finally able to move properly and the green giant settled down to execute a few more keystrokes.
From his new spot on the floor, Rattrap waited beat before piping up again, “So, uh…where’s it gonna land, again?”
Rhinox sighed and shook his head in exasperation before he answered, “ It’s going to land…”

Okay, peeps, here’s the deal.
How You Participate
This activity is basically a raffle to help develop an adoptable for the Beast Wars forum participants. It starts as a pod and then we follow various stages all the way through its first transformation – Falling, Programming, Scanning, Beast Mode, Robot Mode, Weapons, Naming, History, and Personality. At each step I’ll host a Raffle, where you write something or answer a question and if the requirements are met, I enter your name into a hat, I draw, and that answer/description/whatever is made the official info for the bot. :3
At the end, we’ll have a character that anyone here on the Forums can use in their stories or artwork and whatever. It can be an extra character you might need to fill a nameless place in a fic or the main character or you feel like drawing it, whatever you want, but he or she must be kept IC according to what was raffled and the artist/author must keep in mind that others are using the character too. Think of it as a Beast Wars forum mascot that you have the option of using at your discretion but who has a personality and stuff to abide by and has other owners besides yourself. :3 Er, only those who participate in the Forum and/or are members of BWInt can use it, though. No passersby!
If this is successful, I may hold more raffle like this in the future and may raffle off a character to a specific person rather than focusing on the shaping of a character by the community. Let me know your suggestions.
What You Do For Stage 1
You decide where it’s going to land! In order to do so, exercise your Creative Writing Skills! :3
Write a paragraph describing the pod’s journey to Earth. Why did its orbit deteriorate so soon? Is it a smooth landing or is it hurling out of control? When it lands, what’s the environment look like?
You have the following biomes to choose from:
Ocean, Desert, Jungle, Temperate Forest, Tundra, Antarctic, Arctic, Savannah, Plains, and Mountains.
Once you’re done, post it! :3 The best* descriptions’ authors will be put into a hat and the one I draw will be the official description. In order to be placed in the hat, the paragraph needs to be
= well written (grammar and spelling aren’t huge but please do your best. NO text talk. D: ),
= interesting (meaning, don’t write a generic landing for the sake of writing a landing. If it’s a completely normal landing that Rhinox merely miscalculated, point that out somehow in the paragraph.),
= and at least 5 sentences long (descriptive!!
Like you’re writing a fanfic).I'll wait until Monday the 18th of January before holding the raffle! :3 That should give me time to finish catching up in the RP. xD

*In order to get your name in the hat, you have to give some effort per Step. That's all 'best' is really. This means meeting the requirements, simple as that. I simply don’t want to give a prompt that says, for example, to describe the character and get something back saying “He was blue” and that’s it. x_x (Or something totally off topic or whatever.)
This egg has a Predacon symbol, yess. 
It seems like an interesting idea though. Looking forward to see where this goes (sadly my schedule is preventing me from participating much.. Next 2 months will be hell on earth for me)
