Ratchet and Ironhide

Hey did any one ever notice in Transformers 2007 that ever where Ironhide was Ratchet was right next to him? I'm starting to think that they're bond mates or some thing close to that.

Or they just work well together. Like Starscream, Skywarp, and Thudercracker. Though that doesn't stop people from thinking there's something going on there.... lol

I picture Rachet as like the "father" figure So maybe Ironhide thought of him that way. I do agree with Joshin though:

I see them as opposite characters that perform well when put together. Ratchet is the one who heals wounds while Ironhide is the one who inflicts them. I'm not exactly sure what "bond mates" means but it's a good pairing that interests the audience.

"Bond Mates" is term commonly used in TF fanfics as like the transformer equilvent to marriage. Normally in fanfics when 2 Transformers become bond mates, the form like a telepathic connection.

I noticed that too!

I don't jump to conclusions and I agree with Joshin, but I've read a couple well written, IC fics with that pairing and I find that I really really like it! xD Very cute but also emotionally deep on many levels.

I honestly don't know since Chromia's box for TF: ROTF says that she and Ironhide kind of have a thing going.. or at least that's what it implies.

I did read the box for the toy once while I was at Wal-Mart, but sadly I wasn't able to get it.

But I remember it said that she was friends who Ironhide, but didn't clarify her as his girlfriend, who knows really since character relationships vary from continuity to continuity. But I guess it's just one of those things that are up to fan speculation, because I don't think there's gonna be any hints TF romance in the movie-verse anytime soon.
