I think he read for Megs, and David Kaye read for Optimus originally didn't they?Optimal Optimus Primal wrote: You know, I think I remember someone asking him that before and I'm pretty sure he said Megatron. But that was years ago, so don't quote me on that.![]()
Thank you, WW! ^^

That sounds familiar, Aesir. I think you're right. Because I think Garry wanted to play the villain for once.I think he read for Megs, and David Kaye read for Optimus originally didn't they?

It's okay, una. Take your time. The interview won't be happening probably until January. Plenty of time! ^^Sadly, I can't think of none at the moment

Wow, that is a long list of stuff he's been in but.. I just went through the first 200 items on his credential list, and I have honestly not seen a single one of his movies or series other than his portrayal of Primal in BW (and the 2 episodes of BM I saw) along with Optimus Prime in Energon.. Never saw Cybertron or anything.. and of course the TF movie. So he will forever be Optimus to me.He has a long list of credits, Phoenix. I'm sure you've seen or heard him in something but didn't realize it. His credits are nearing 300 shows/cartoons/movies that he's been in. If anyone wants to check them out, go to IMDb.com.

Really, Phoenix? Huh. Well, he does do a lot of sci-fi and ABC shows, Lifetime movies, and kid cartoons. So unless you watch any of that, I guess you wouldn't see him in too much else. It's too bad he gets such tiny roles in big movies like Watchmen and Eight Below. Despite that, though, he gets to work with some pretty big names out there. I just caught him in a Lifetime movie with Ashton Kutcher, Michelle Pfeiffer and Kathy Bates, so that was neat.

Sweet. So he will forever be Optimus to me.

You're quite welcome, tfsvoice. I'm looking forward to it too. I'm trying to set it up with Garry, but with the holidays, a cold, the last two or three interviews he has just done, and traveling to a convention in January, we don't have many opportunities.I'm really looking forward to this interview! Thanks OOP!

You bet! Although, while the interview will be recorded, it'll be transcripted for on-line entertainment, but I'll see if I can grab at least the audio clip when he'll say that infamous Primal quote for you.Would you ask Garry to say with his Optimus Primal voice, now that's just Prime!

I'm sorry I can't promise everything, guys, because I don't know much about how these interviews are done.

Wow OOP! I didn't realize Garry was involved with so many programs, I'm really impressed!!Optimal Optimus Primal wrote:You forgot to mention that he was alongside Robert England in Freddy vs Jason as the town copTrue. But I can't list his seemingly endless list of credits. Rollbots, Watchmen, Eight Below, Deck the Halls, He-Man, MacGyver, Sliders, Aliens in America... Far too many more. He is, after all, the "King of LifeTime."

Hey, guys. I just wanted to let everyone know that we finally got the interview done today with Garry, and it was about two hours long.
When the transcript is available, I will post it on the board for everyone to read. I think I covered everyone's questions... I think. If I didn't ask them, I'm pretty sure they were covered one way or another. However, I didn't get to do the requests that were asked for him to say something, but to be honest, I can get those any time if he's up for it. So that's about it. I thought it went really well. ^^
