anybody on facebook? state your FB screenname and the link of your page.

I don't know, starshadow, FB screen names are typically people's real names (like mine), so I don't know if people are going to post them publicly here.

But I am on FB. ^^

Yeah, but I think most of us are cool with that one because most of us in that group have already met at various cons. Or know someone that can vouch for the rest. *shrugs*

But yeah, I agree with everyone else. No offense to anyone here, but I just wouldn't be comfortable putting my real name up here. First names, alright, but it's still the internet. And I'm not a big fb fan anyway, so I've made it a point only to add people I know and have met in person :/

Ditto, Jagna! It's just common courtesy to me. If you don't know them personally, then don't add them. I hate people who add others as friends when they have never even spoken to them over the 'net or in person. It's like people just add others because they find them on Facebook and they're like, "OMG! It's so-and-so!" But will they actually ever talk to them, or vice versa? Probably not. And if not, then what was the point? Just to say, "Hey, so-and-so and I are friends on Facebook?" When technically, no, you're not really "friends" at all.

All of my friends are people I have met. And if I haven't met them, then they decided to contact me and tell me why they've added me (which is nice).

For those of you peeps out there who send me a friend request, please tell me your BW Int handle, or explain how you know me because otherwise I have no idea who you are and I might just click "Ignore."

Starshadow, Aesir was just making a very common Internet joke. Don't take it personally. (It may not be a well known joke outside of the U.S. and UK) Tone is lost over the Internet.

Also, I think it's a nice idea to bring the community together on Facebook, but for security reasons, it is better to let people join the BWINT FB group if they want to. Sadly, there are trolls on the net who will lift personal information about people from off public forums like these and use it for ill means.

If you like, you can join the Bwint group, or I can PM you my Facebook address if you wanna add me.

I did a search for the bwint fb group but had no luck finding it. Perhaps if I had a lot of time devoted to searching but..
