It depends but yes, it is possible. Sometimes a bad guy is only bad because of faulty understanding. Ultimately I think it all hangs on how much empathy the "bad guy" is capable of.
I believe that unarmed truth and unconditional love will have the final word in reality. This is why right, temporarily defeated, is stronger than evil triumphant.

Oh yes, I've made a Troper of you already, muahahaha!Blazemane wrote:Razor, I told myself "I can't spend hours on there. I really shouldn't."Razor One wrote:Clear out several hours, this makes for good reading and the crosslinks will keep you busy for some time to come.
Heel Face Turn.
That idea remained wasn't contradicted for 59 minutes and 59 seconds. But then...
References to Inigo Montoya and the Terminator galore. So much to read...
For added entertainment check out their page on Beast Wars.
As a good example of a Face Heel Turn though, I'm going... wait..
WARNING WARNING WARNING
This red text contains spoilers for Farscape Season 4. DO NOT READ IT IF YOU HAVENT WATCHED FARSCAPE THAT FAR.
4x05 - Promises
Scorpius, the alien in black leather, is a perfect example of this in Season 4. He joins the good guys but still maintains his own agenda.
Spoilers end here. In other news, we really need spoiler tags at some point... I'll have to research that at some point.

Night-Hunter wrote:Well is it toward the end of season 3 or the begining?I don't remember the name of the episode, but it was an episode in season 3 where Blitzwing confronts Galvatron at the end of the program and defies his orders. Galvatron says something like, "You'll suffer Blitzwing, you'll suffer greatly for this!"
Okay Night Hunter, the episode was The Five Faces of Darkness Part 5. It appears that Blitzwing did not join the Autobots. At the end of the episode Blitzwing says to Galvatron, "This ends now, or I will write its conclusion", pointing his gun at Galvatron. Galvatron replies saying, "You will never be welcomed among the Decepticon ranks again".The Quintessons (I don't know how to properly spell that) made a crafty plan to take back Cybertron and Blitzwing was the first person to find this out, but Galvatron would not take him seriously. Instead of continuing to fight the Autobots, Blitzwing begged the Autobots to help stop the Quintessons before they vanquish the Transformers by releasing a huge number of Sharkticons beneath the surface of Cybertron. Also, the Quintessons were able to remotely shutdown all the bots from a control lever. Do you remember this episode?

I think that will vary a bit.. Everyone has some good and some bad in them.. if you want to take it to extreme characters, however, I would have to say no.. I do not believe that human nature allows people to really kill off extremely bad traits of their personalities. So if someone is bad to the core (though I doubt anyone is pure evil), I just don't see any way they could possibly turn good.
If they're like normal people with a bit from both sides, I'd definitely say that it's possibly to become a better person.
The same applies for BW I suppose.
