Favorite Books,poems, plays
My favorite books are Frankstein by Mary Shelley, One flew over the Cuckoo's Nest, Candide, Nancy Drew's novels, Paradise Lost, Pilgrim's Progress and some Star Wars novels.
My favorite poems are The Tyger and the Lamb by William Blake(I think).
Plays I read and don't see often but the ones I love is the Crucible, Sleepy Hollow, and Monkey's Paw.

Another book I read and I have forgotten is Emma by Jane Austin.
Let's make this more interesting: Who is your favorite author or authors?
William Blake and John Militon are a couple of my favorites.

I don't have time to list all the stuff I like right now so I'll name my all time favorite for now.
The Oath by Frank Peretti.
and Redwall by Brian... complicated last name.
As for fave author? the guy who wrote the redwall series he's one of my favorites. I can't spell his last name

Here's a small list of some of the books recently I've read (recently is just the last two months I believe...)
On Bullshit - H.G Frankfurt
Mindf$cking: A Critique of Mental Manipulation - Colin McGinn (we all know the real word there, but I don't want BWint to kiddify it)
^ Those two books relate to each other and while VERY dry, are amazing a read.
The Wisdom of Whores: Bureaucrats, Brothels, and the Business of AIDS" by Elizabeth Pisani ([A meandering piece, that is quite funny at some points, and poignantly raw in others with the in your face facts, including the horrible way USA,Canada and UK REALLY give AID help to HIV ridden worlds)
Tale of Despereaux - Kate DiCamillo (Cute lil book, nothing heavy but yet, for a child's book, nothing is sugar coated)
The Uses and Abuses of History by Margaret MacMillan (A Canadian author with no holds barred on the dark and twisted history of the world, even North America's)
Small Gods - Terry Pratchett
Good Omens - Terry Pratchet & Neil Gaiman
Stardust (the comic) - Neil Gaiman (I heard this was a movie recently..anyone know if it's any good?)
Unfortunately I don't have my book shelves here to say any others, but this is a rough idea of the books I normally read.

I read a ton of books, so I think Imight have a hard time narrowing it down.
But as books go, I reallly like Holes, and as for series, I like the Narnia series, and other book series, I loved Animorphs and A Series of Unforunate Events.
I also read a lot of Star Wars book, and I'll admit that I really liked The Courtship of Princess Leia.

I also like the Sisters Grimm stories by Michael Buckley and the Maximum Ride books by James Patterson.
Hehe it's funny. I like Patterson's teen reads but not his adult fiction.
