My first attempt to draw 'Featherwing'

Hi there

I tried to draw an image of 'Featherwing', it is my first attempt to draw something like a robot. She still looks human, because I was thinking that being human also like a beast-mode...
I am not used to draw a robot... it is my first attempt. I know she looks morelike a being of flesh and blood but that is how I see her.

Maybe she needs another design. I just did the pic in ten minutes as a test.

Tip to draw a beast warrior : try to make her look alittle bulky. Add the robotic joints. Don't draw the eye brows, bots never have any

perhaps I just like non-robotforms like animals (beast-modes)
maybe I should make more beast mode pictures. I guess I have a better chance to make these look good.

I like animals and I would like to draw my heroes in their beast modes.

For first attempts, Featherwing, those are pretty darn good! I like Featherwing's overall design. She's so cute! She almost seems to have an Egyptian appearance about her. Very cool. Two thumbs up from me! ^_^

I will try to draw her beastmode. I only have problems with the colours: I cannot decide which colours I chould use.

it is like shopping: which dress? the blue or red one? I must decife the colour for the fur. We will see

Coloring was next my question! But you're right, it's like picking out a dress! Maybe you can print some copies of your drawing (thumbnails, so to speak) and then color those copies with different colors and see what you like most and go from there.

I will try to draw horses because my beast-mode cannot be feline anymore. I accept that.
Would be boring if everyone here is a cat. I am trying to be a Tarpan horse and later if possible I will get wings and become a pegasus like animal.
But I would be glad if I could draw horses... usually I rarely draw anaimals with hooves.

How about some yellow and tan for your character? If you could make your bot's skin color tan, yet some how a little metalic, I feel it would look cool. What colors did you have in mind? By the way, nice bot! She looks tough. Maybe you could have her wings transform and fold up in robot form and be able to reveal them and fly while still in robot form.
