My theory;

The writers knew dick all about the past incarnations of Transformers, therefore mucking things up with the 'organic' core and sunrises.

Secondly, Cheetor's legs bugged the heck out of me.

Thirdly, I didn't mind Rattrap and the weapons things..added some much needed depth to a slightly bland character.

Fourthly? I think the colorists were all on acid when they worked and decided on a color scheme.

I hope that Optimus can rest in peace now. What happened to him and to Megatron? I watched the final fight but I do not know what happened with them.

Well, I think I can honestly say that they both died at the end. Anyway, I think I once read somewhere that according to the writters of the show, thier bodies dissolved or something like that.

I kind of agree with what Alak described on Beast Machines and I agre that I love it as a stand alone series. It was te first TFverse I fell in love with, too!!

However, I did like Nightscream. He was my favorite at the time. I like how he's street smart and, while he's stll immature in ways, he also has this common sense about him that young Cheetor didn't have. xD This made him a valable member of the team right off the bat (lol) instead of him having to learn to make decent decisions. I liked his beast mode, and I actually did like his robot mode, to an extent. I don't like his face but I do like his body. Also, even though he's good as a 'guy', I think they could have just as easily made him the same but a "girl". Named Nightscream. there erally is no reason to cahnge the name...

I LOVED THE VEHICONS.

JETSTORM IS PURE WIN.

And then I found out it was Waspy/Rhinox/silverbolt. 9_9 UUUGGHHHHH.... RUINED. They were such GERAT chars on their own without having to be Maximal Buddies! DX Silverbolt's growth was okay and I suppose his Jetstorm stint made sense since he always seemed ot have a dark side but I honeestly think they could have don that better. Rhinox madezero sense. It was so OOC, despite him being reprogrammed. They should have gotten him back. :/ I wanted Jetstorm to be there the whole show. I think he brought something both humorous and very very dark to the show. His humor was so mean but his style so sharp, I tihnk they missed a great opportunity with him. same with Thrust. He didn't need to be Waspy. ;_; He was SO COOL, such a cool character with great potential, and then they ruined it by making him Waspinator. 9_9

OPal lost a huge chunk of his commanderness, I agree there. ;_; And BA lost her edge wayyyyy back when she got turned Maximal. ;_; I LOVED her as a Pred. DXXXX

Cheetor's growth was awesome. :3 And I loved his form. :3

Graphics = really good except the backgrounds. 9_9 They spent too much time animating them and not detailing the city. :/

Megatron's Yeses, tbh, would not have fit into BM. XD So no greivances there.

lol isn't that exactly what G1 did from the first episode all the way until the movie?

Oh, and Dalgaroth, I agree with your view on Vehicons. Jetstorm and Thrust were awesome personalities who mirrored one another in a very entertaining way. I wasn't a big fan of Tankor, though, until the Rhinox in him made him smart. Strika and Obsidian were pretty cool too, and I thought their "we defend Cybertron, and since Megatron is Cybertron, we defend him" speech was pretty cool.

Obsidian was cool. But I looooove Strika. She was BAD AFT. XD Gods, I love her heavyset design and I liked her voice except her accent was too...tightlipped and 'proper', imo. I would have liked it better if she didn't have the accent. I really wish we got to know the generals and other BM-only characters better... :/

And yes, Thrust and Jetstorm's weird...friendship or whatever that was was very entertaining. I love how they HATED each other and then backed each other up when Tankor threatened their success.From then on they just always hung out together. omg, I love how Savage was running around they were hiding, and when the Maximals skipped by, JS and Thrust shoot at them and then there's all this confusion as to who's shooting who and what. Then Thrust yells and his voice echoes, which causes them to look around like idiots. xD I dunno. I giggle at that cuz duhhhh it's an echo. o_O But that whole episode was fun.

"That program has been 'deleted.' I'm Jetstorm now. PERRRRIIOOODDD!!!!"

I remember nearly choking on my cereal when I heard Jetstorm shout that line because until then, it never occured to me that DBZ's Vegeta's voice actor was the same guy who did Jetstorm. :'DDD And Zechs Marquis from Gundam Wing, both shows that were on Toonami at the time Beast Machines was on every weekend. :'DD (That's when Cartoon NEtwork was alive. :'D ) Vegeta's always been a favorite, him and Piccolo, so hearing his voice from several of my favorite shows totally rocked my world.

However, I think Jetstorm's voice is the coolest of all of them. :3

Tankor, actually I thought he was cool. I liked how he seemed dumb, but of the three of them, he's the one who succeeded at capturing the MAximals. He could have been a rather complex character if they'd done him right.
I didn't like how he was Rhinox, but it might have been a....decent throwback to the Beast Wars's "Dark Designs". (i tihnk that's the episode.) if they'd done it better that way and then brought him back.

... Megatron should have known better than to reprogram peeps to begin with. Another inconsistency, sorta. :/

I want the Vehicons to be separate entities...or MADE into separate entities. That's gonna be in my fic. 8D

Yeah, I agree that the Vechicon Generals were cool. You know, I had no idea that Jetstrom and Vegeta had the same actor. (I'm also a Vegeta fan.)

Also as other charatcers go, I'll admit that I also like Botanica and Nightscream.

And on another note, I didn't like how they did the whole Rhinox/Tankor thing either. Aside from Megs, having already learned back in BW that turning Rhinox evil was a bad idea, the way he betrayed his former friends, in my opinion was so out of character for him. Having him against having organic life on Cybertron, I mean come on. How could this be the same guy in Beast Wars who liked to stop and smell the flowers.

Oh I forgot about Botanica! I loved her! She was really cool. :3 And I loved her design. :3 And her voice/accent. I didn't like how she ended up with Rattrap. I mean, he was OOC to begin with, sorta, in the show, but .... I dunnoooo... He obviously is a pretty shady guy and she's so sophistcaited and they jsut kinda got together on a whim practically and through FIGHTING nonetheless o_O Similar fighting to what he did with Dinobot, too. :/

Actually, you may be right on the first one. From what I heard, Hasbro chose people who didn't know much about transformers to write Beast machines. They also told their writers not to look up certain things about transformers.

My personal opinion is that if Beast Machines had a different cast and was it's own show, more people would have liked it. However due to characters from Beast wars being in it while not even having the right personality traits (when did Optimus Primal become a organic loving, technology hating psychopath?) the result was quite bad.

I still like all the Vehicons... except Tankor. I still have trouble with Rattrap and his weapons. I think posted what my problem with it was.

Dinobot would be happy to see him but I think he would also make some bad jokes about the new robot mode of Rattrap. Especially since he has no weapons anymore... poor Rattrap.

But we all know Rattrap: he will be having arguments with 'chopperface' again and again. And Dinobot will always see him as a 'vermin'

I like Rattraps new outfit very much. he has a more humanlike face and sweet eyes.
