Female.

I think a lot of girls find transformers appealing. Maybe we should do a gender divided poll asking what guys and girls find appealing about beast wars? See if there's any gender differences there.

Female. Goodness knows why there are so many females on this board, but I assume it's because when it started the people who wandered over to it were ex-fanfic writers of BWA and The Realm, which were also female led fanfic sites, and so BWINT kinda grew along those gender lines from there.

I think it's fairly obvious why boys like Transformers: action, comedy, transforming cars/animals, the toys, etc. I just happened to find Beast Wars more appealing because at the time I found animals more interesting than cars, the humor was better, no cheesy music, better transformations, and I loved the toys.

Personally, I love Beast Wars because of the animation, voices and that the TransFormers were animals instead of vehicles, electionics or cities. XD Here is my photo.

Anywho,I like Beast Wars for many reasons:The excellent writing,the soundtrack,the character development,the interwoven storyline,the animation,the performance of each voice actor...but why does it appeal to women more than other TF Series?

I seriously don't know...

I agree with the Hot-ness of some of them *hint, hint* Rampage, Tarantulas, Quickstrike and Depth Charge

And I think the animals got my attention too.

Uh, what about Dinobot?? He's the one with real bona fide muscles. *swoon* But Tarantulas I definitely agree. Six pack!

But my serious answer about my attraction to the show would be the characters. They're so... real. Allow me to explain, so many Beast Wars fics seem like they could be episode scripts because the fic writers have solid ideas about the characters they're writing about. That probably doesn't make sense out loud, but in my head it does.
