Reference pictures of Quickstrike. Please help!

Unread post by Joshin Yasha »

I got the inspiration last night for this picture of Quickstrike from a high angle perspective, and I need some reference photos of him, particularly his left arm (with the scorpion legs) and his robot legs. If anyone can help out, it would be awesome.

Either post them here or send them to joshinyasha at yahoo dot com

Sorry, Starshadow, I've been packing up to move back to college this week. I should hopefully get to it once I'm settled in on Tuesday. The only reason I'm up working on this picture of Quickstrike is because he refused to shut up >_> And I realized I hadn't drawn him before

If you have the Beast Wars DVD, then playing it on your PC and taking screenshots of appropriate angles might work. (Print Screen key on the keyboard) Otherwise, apart from the site and a google image search, I don't know of places on the net these days with good BW piccies.

This is probably the most detailed image you'll find, but it's not a CGI model:

Here's some other images:

Sapphire has the right idea, though. Watching the episodes on DVD will definitely be a big help. If you're willing to settle for lower quality, Youtube has every episode uploaded.

Yeah, I'd been using the episodes I have on my computer. Seems to be an aversion to show his left arm. They wanna focus on that cobra head lol

Er.. I didn't want to mention this but on a forum I frequent there is a picture of Quickstrike giving the Finger that may interest you.

There, edited for your protection.. against robots giving the bird.

Well OOP has every episode uploaded PLUS they're in HD. You just search Beast Wars HD and OOP's stuff is the first option up there. :)

Hmmm OOP's username wouldn't happen to be UltimateOne or something along those lines would it? That's the user I've been watching vids off of for the past few months.

Thanks everyone soo much! I really appreciate all the help :) The suggestions worked wonderfully for the episodes, but the kicker was when I found a character reference of the revolving molds for me to download. I'll upload the lineart here so everyone can see how much of a help they were for this picture :)

The idea is to do a high angle shot of him sitting down hehe
