So... Who plays this specific MMO...

Where you can post announcements and other cool things. Doesn't have to be BW-related.

Sorry, not me.

WoW would kill my computer and laptop. >.<

If you really want fellow TF fans around in WoW, why not check out the Comics in Disguise guys? They even have a board in the forums for WoW players...

It's a board I've never entered though, so no idea about what they do there.

I was thinking more along the lines of you guys, rather than Generic Transformer Guys. After all, It'd be more fun playing with friends than random people. :D

I've been playing WoW for 3 years now just about, looking forward to the next expansion pack =)

I currently play on the Alleria US server (horde side, alliance is for sissies :P), though since I'm on Australian time it's doubtful that you'd see much of me at all.

The class closest in nature to a transformer would be the Druid class, being that you can shapeshift (transform) from humanoid to various animal forms and back again (Bear, Cat, Tree [deep restoration druids] and Moonkin [Deep Balance druids]).

If you need a pointer and I happen to be online, I'd be happy to advise =)

Oh man, I've been playing for a year, now. Though I stopped for a few months, then started back up in January. :P

I play both Horde and Alliance, to get the full of the story. Though honestly, the Horde are much more fun. Especially the Tauren.

"Moo. Are you happy now?"

I'm a Warrior all the way. :D Insane attack power, crazy high armor rating, plus Retaliation. Oh Lordy I love Retaliation. *drool*

I'm on the Lothar Server. It's quite win.

Orc Warrior and Blood Elf Paladin both at 70.

The Orc was my first 60 and 70, the Paladin followed quickly after BC released and supplanted the Warrior.

I can solo three equally geared, equally skilled rogues at once on the pally. Prot FTW! Nobody knows what to do when they come across a prot pally playing in PvP =)

You missed out on a lot of legacy content I'm afraid.

The initial bloodbath that was Tarren Mill Vs. Southshore, ahhh, those were the days. 500 alliance swarmed in on Tarren mill with the full intent of razing it to the ground, held back by only a scant 100 horde defenders, myself amongst them. Oh the joy I felt when we not only held the line but broke their assault and drove them right back into Southshore and straight back into the sea.

Then we were wiped out by excessive guard spam. Yay.

You missed on the first iterations of Alterac Valley as well. That was basically Tarren Mill in a bottle. Battles would rage back and forth for days on end, charges would form, aerial support would carpet bomb entire areas, mines would kill player left and right and Lok'holar the Ice Lord would scream constantly "I DRINK IN YOUR SUFFERING, MORTAL! LET YOUR ESSENCE CONGEAL WITH LOK'HOLAR!" and would grow larger with every player he killed.

Ah yes, he once grew to be the size of Dun Baldar.

And I'm not kidding when I said those battles could last for days. I once joined in an AV that had had a 6 day run, some servers had AV's that lasted two whole weeks before finally closing down with a win or a loss. Not like the races that go on now and barely last half an hour =\

And of course you missed on other stuff like the Ahn'Quiraj event, the Naxxramas invasion, the initial re-opening of the Dark Portal and the demons that charged forth, Doom Lord Kazzak wiping out stormwind over and over and over and The Blood Plague that Hakkar the Soulflayer sent packing off with hunters pets to destroy all capital cities.

That's not to say you havent had it good. BC spelled the Death Knell of "Raid Or Die" and raiding guild dominance in battlegrounds with the introduction of resilience (being unable to kill anyone because they had full tier three sucked big time, trust me), epic quality loot is more prolific then ever (whereas at one point it was a good indicator of how much of a life you didnt have) and PvP balance has Improved.

Here's looking towards Wrath of the Lich King and yet another continent for High Overlord Saurfang to test his strength in :)

Oh man. I wish I had the ability to say I've done awesome things like that. ._. The most exciting thing I've done was take down a World Boss Dragon. After about six tries, though. 'Cause some dude decided it would be fun to get the Raid Group killed by playing chicken. >.< People on my server are dumber than rocks.

I may join up your server =P If I do, I'll PM ya what my name is.

**Resurrects from the dead**

I play WoW =D Like, a lot. *ahem*NERD*ahem* But, I'm kinda new still and have definitely not taken down a world boss yet (you crazy fool you). I don't even have a 70, though I do have both a 52 and a 40 (warrior and rogue respectively). I am definitely more of a rogue person, but I haven't ventured into the world of PvP yet. I'm sure I'd get distracted by a donut and owned 5769409 times consecutively anyway.

I'm on the Uldum server currently, and playing alliance mostly, not because horde aren't cool (I wanna make a BE pally like Razor; great choice), but because there's very little going on in the horde part of Uldum, so I might change servers to start that one up, but like you I don't wanna get lonely on new turf. At least on Uldum I've taken up with some decent, if likewise inexperienced, players.

And my rogue's mount looks like tigertron. It's awesome.

But anyway, if ever you wanna play and venture to a new server and wanted company, I'd come along gladly (FOR THE HORDE). Probably best to get in touch through email were that the case (varyn13@yahoo.com) as I almost never check this forum.

Good luck with your WoWing either way =D It's such an awesome game. I love it.

... If you're ever in Staghelm and run in to some high-level guy named "Larumon" or something like that (he's dragging a pet red raptor around), tell him his sister says hi, and please turn the volume down; his subwhoofers are making Lady Subaru and TM Primal bungee off my shelf without bungee cords.

I've never been big on MMOs (or any online multiplayer game), namely because of the coarse language practically everyone uses. It bugs the slag out of me when people use the f-word more than any other word.

The only MMO I'll likely every play is if they ever create a Transformers MMORPG (which I REALLY, REALLY hope they do someday).

I have a friend who joined, during thesis year. He failed courses, lost his job which was paying $45/hour and is still sitting around being a lazy bum.

Were I to join, I would most likely follow that very path of destruction

Personally, I prefer having a massive LAN session where you call up your mates, ring the pizza guy and walk down to the servo for lots of coke. Then the proud few who remain the next morning wake up with a console controller/drum sticks/Rock Band guitar in one hand and a half eaten slice of cold pizza in the other. To be honest, its one of the biggest things I am missing whilst being here in Singapore. When I get back I'm booking in my mates for an entire weekend of gaming. Start friday and not finish until Sunday night :D

I agree with Beastbot's thing about swearing. There's all these try hards who are foul mouthed "leet speaking" try hards who posture about in the only thing they can claim to be a success in their life. Fortunately, I have a penchant for living my fantasies and they stretch beyond the digital realm..... come on rapid tissue regeneration and telekenesis
It's ok sir. I'll be fine...

Just listen to your commander, bonebrain!

Yes dear...

Swearing isnt really a rampant problem. You come across the odd swear here and there but so long as you leave the swear filter going you wont see anything but "@#$#%".

You can also leave chat channels quite easily as well as ignore the more annoying or rowdy people. Even so, the only people I've got on my ignore list are people that are jackasses or those that see fit to harass me at every turn.

And if you fall into the right guild, the play experience can be absolutely awesome. I've been with the same guild for 3 years now. We havent progressed further then Karazhan but the people are so enjoyable to play with I really dont care if I havent hit things like Sunwell or the Black Temple.

About the only thing that would pull me away from WoW would be a TF based MMO, frankly I'm not sure why Hasbro hasnt at least considered making one.

Also, VARYN! How you doing? The Blood Elf Paladin (Female, they seem to be less Effeminate then the males, heh) pretty much supplanted my Orc Warrior main, though I've been drifting back since patch 2.4 hit.

I'm on the Alleria server, hordeside of course! =) Bug me sometime if I'm on, though I'm on Australian time so it'll be a rare thing if you do see me :D

I'm doing GRRRREAT! XD Sorry, I just got off a massive WoW session and I'm all hyped up lol Really though, in general life I'm doing better than... Than something really good *brain melts into a puddle of WoWgoo*

What's your main's name on the Alleria server? I might be on during Aussie time as I exist on WoW time which is pretty much all the time XD I have a funky sleep... well it's not even a cycle really... more like a strange Russian dance.

Anyway, do you use any IM services? I think I still have AIM and yahoo msnger so we could at least talk WoW and stuff if you wanted to sometime. I'm sure I would love to pick your brain for WoW/pally tips *sponges off your braaaaiins*

Likewise, yeah, as to the sentiments about swearing, I honestly don't see much. In fact, I think one of the guild rules for the guild I'm in is no harsh swearing. The worst you usually see is netspeak, and whilst I've never liked that, it does make sense that when typing between targets and attacks, brevity is your friend.

...Lordy, it's 6:30 am here and I haven't yet slept. Go meeee! 8D

Mains names are Kranis (Orc Warrior) and Shodan (Blood Elf Pally).

I generally dont use IM services as people tend to message me at critical moments (While tanking Curator, while defending a node in Arathi Basin, the moment I pull in a heroic, etc etc) though I tend to be on now and then.

My AIM is included below in my details, though I'm generally guaranteed to be on Skype 24/7 as I never log out of that.

Skype addy is razor_scion if you need to add me.

See you in game =)

Suddenly, I'm thinking that all of us who play WoW should start new characters together, on a completely new server. o_o

That way, we won't have to play catch up with each other! And questing will be funner (Yes, I just said 'Funner').

Do it NAO!
