Beast Wars II and Beast Wars Neo

I've been looking up these two Japanese Beast Wars series online and watching subtitled and fandubbed versions of it...and its not that bad. Both shows pale in comparison to the original Beast Wars series but are none the less quite entertaining and alot of the bots possess rather good beast modes (especially that Magmatron fellow...SCARY TRIPLE FUZOR/GESTALT!). I've seen a few beast wars II episodes and its a bit goofy really and it makes no sense that only the leader of the Preds has a beast form, but the transformation sequences and beast forms are pretty cool (especially the lion Lioconvoy). Beast Wars Neo is much better from what little I've seen of it because the predacons actually LOOK like Predacons and have beast forms. You can watch the BW II Movie on Youtube and that is pretty cool.

The thing about Transformers in general in Japan is that they are aimed more at very young where here they seem to make the shows more all age based.

From what I have seen of both shows they are pretty cool design-wise but quickly turn to villian plot of the week type shows.

I love the toys though. Big Convoy,Lio Convoy,BW Galvatron are awesome. Magmatron is also cool but he is not as poseable after you combine him.
