something that always troubled me with stasis pods

may sound dumb of me lol but...

protoform is in shape of human/bot

but when they emerge they are in beast mode

how do they have enough room to transform in their pods??

well, the protoforms appear in a gelatinous or liquid like state of some sort, so once the transformation process begins they probably just reshape into whatever form they ultimately choose (and they appear in beast mode first I suspect inorder to protect the robot from the harmful effects of energon radiation, or to blend in better with the environment)

After counting the number of Beast wars toys not in the show, adding Tigatron, Airazor, Inferno, Blackarachnia, Quickstrike, Silverbolt, Rampage, Dinobot 2, Transmutate and the two stasis pods that didn't survive the planet buster and not counting transmetal upgrades that were not seen in the show and toys that weren't in the show but still got transmetal 2 upgrades there is about 62.

Technically, it's been 3 months since the person last posted. If it were April, then it would've been revived. Scourge is just using the defibulator on it. "CLEAR!" LOL

I suppose the question now is how to factor in the Gathering comics 'bots? They weren't all made in to toys, were they? (*volunteers to start counting Gathering characters if someone would help her cross-reference with any pre-existing toys*)

*edit*
The Beast Wars Sourcebook issue one has 42 or 43 character profiles in it
Lol teaches me to read first... So somone might still have to cross-reference with the toys (for example, taking Optimus minor out of the equation because I believe he was already counted as a toy. Same with the polar bear who I think is Polarclaw? I couldn't see a name anywhere in my copy...).

Actually most of the characters in the gathering were adapted from toys. The blendtrons and Magmatron were from a japan only series called beast wars Neo. and The Gathering uses all of the toys from beast wars except for the mutant Razor claw, the transmetal 2 Jawbreaker and all but one of the Mcdonalds/burger king toys.
