TIME COMES AND GO

A month has passed since the Maximals were sent back in time by Primus, the Decepticons that were sent after the Maximals never came. The Maximals were confused as to why that event had not occurred was it the fact they were sent back five days prior and they somehow managed to change the Predacons' minds? Were they scarred of the new and improved Dark Night who had become a Transmetal II? They questioned it and they rejoiced in the fact it didn’t happen. Jawbreaker was jealous of Dark Night and Grimlock they were both far more powerful than he was, he wanted more power, he didn’t want to be the weakest of the group. He spent as much time as he could devote to finding a way to become more powerful. He studied the medical files on the Maximal Transmetal IIs and Optimal Transmetals past and present.

The Predacons are trying to figure out how Dark Night became a Transmetal II overnight. They knew this could mean defeat for them if they were not able to figure out how they did it without the Transmetal Driver. Which as they knew was destroyed in the second Beast Wars by Optimal Optimus to prevent Tarantulas from gaining more power. They had no slagging clue how it happened, so they sent a spy drone to the Maximal base. What they found there confounded them even more. The Maximal base was completely sealed off. There was no way to enter it at all. The Predacon spy drone was sent out to find the Maximals. It was sent all over the place to look for their prey.

The Maximals had moved to their new base inside of Cosmos. They had remained at their old until after the attack was supposed to take place. They destroyed everything they were not going to bring with them. They knew that none of the equipment was there in the planet’s future so someone must have destroyed. Cosmos was at first not to happy with his leader’s order to have people move in him, but then he remembered the long lonely times he had in space wishing someone was there with him to talk to, he got over it real quick then.

Cosmos was performing some experiments; he knew the effects Nucleon had on his kind of Cybertronians he wanted to see how it would react to his comrades. He performed the most extensive scans he could to get every last detail right. He then ran a computer simulation to see what would happen if they were to ingest Nucleon. He was naturally curious and since he was the base now he was stuck in vehicle mode. He needed stuff to do consciously while his automated systems performed his daily routines like scanning for Predacon energy signatures.

Torca the sparkless Fuzor was busy repairing several systems that the Transmetal dunderheads messed up. Originally developed to be a medic only, the Transmetal IIs got tired of fixing things the fools broke so they gave Torca new programming so he could do the grunt work. The Transmetal IIs then decided upon experimenting on the incompetents.
