Human Bot

Prologue

- Rebirth -

By: Kidcat and MariaSunderland

Disclaimer: This is the first story of many. We’ve got up to 6 stories so far (some still need to be re-written, but they’re still there) and we’ve got even more ideas to go on for another 6 stories after that.

Felina (Fiona) was created by MariaSunderland and Gemini was created by myself, Kidcat. We’ve worked and developed these characters a lot over the years so please no stealing and copying ;)  Also, Beast Wars and all of its characters belong to Hasbro.

It’s also to be noted that these fanfics take place in the second season of Beats Wars. I wouldn’t be able to tell you exactly after which episode though. The stories don’t follow the Beast Wars season, we just gave our own spin on how things could have been (Not that we didn’t like where the seasons went ;) )

These stories are also rated PG13… Mostly due to language, so you have been warned!

That being said, enjoy ^_^

The alarm's loud scream had been going for over 10 cycles now, the red lights eerily moving from the walls to the ceiling, to the floor into warning waves.

When the tall robot entered the room in a hurry, his face was contorted with concern and fear. This area was not just any area within Sigma Corp.'s secret laboratories. This room contained live specimens of surviving experiments. Some viral even, thus making the place extremely dangerous.

He moved to the middle of the room, looking at every detail it offered him including the bottles of water and red liquid connected... But it took him less then a nano-cycle to find out what was missing. One of the incubators was broken, the glass spread across the floor. He walked closer to it, his confidence high, and put one knee down beside the mess.

Running a blue finger around the pieces of glass, he picked up a larger piece and moved it closer to his face.

"Hmm… blood", his coarse and harsh voice let out.

The red stains were fresh, still dripping down the transparent material. He got back up and tossed the piece away, which broke again as it hit the metallic wall. He could see a trail from the incubator to the door. Whenever the specimen had escaped, it was not very long ago, and had not realized it had given away its destination.

There was a stronger stench in the air though. It was again blood, but it was impossible for the smell to come from such a small amount. He looked around until he found more blood near the end of the room, where cages held prisoners: their live experiments. At first, he believed one of them had fallen to death, until he realized it was merely impossible...

With crushing steps and no hesitation, he walked to the death pattern ahead. The robot in one of the cage now held flesh upon his body, his cellular structure transforming him into a beast who only had the need to feed. Biodrag remained careful, in case one of the cages had let lose also, but they seemed tightly shut.

He found the scientist’s body behind a consol, but no head. It had been blasted away with a single shot. The monsters held in the room could not have crushed a head like so; at least not to anyone's knowledge. Blood had splattered all over the body and covered the walls surrounding it. The small amount of blood that had reached the cages was being licked away by whatever monster there was near it. The bloody tag on the body read Andrew Johnson, a well-known scientist, but he had been at the wrong place at the wrong time.

There was no doubt Andrew Johnson had been killed by what had escaped. The problem was how could it have reached him from such a distance? No weapons had been administered to it yet...

"Thermo scan."

His view switched from normal to a red and blue shape of colours, looking for heat in the room. The body was mostly cold, so were the experiments licking whatever blood they could get a hold of, making them go crazy over the nice meal laying so far from them. There was one bright red spot in the room.  Glowing red with heat, probably not as much as minutes earlier, when the alarm finally sounded, but it was easily visible still.

There it was, the defence gun that had blasted away Andrews' head. The system had to know every scientist on this facility, and would most definitely not shoot at him or her even in time of crisis.

His gaze went back to the broken incubator and with a sharp groan believed he understood. "IT" had somehow taken over part of the system to get away, and had blasted the glass protection at the same time. As it had moved away, it had cut itself in the process.

"Mister Biodrag, this is Annie, do you read me?" he heard from his communicator. The little screen upon his arm showed a young blond woman with a large frown to show her discontentment.

"Yes, I read you clear."

"You have no authorization to be in this area. You MUST get out of there this instant!"

"I won't let my experiment walk around this place."

"What? What are you talking about", she almost yelled at him.

"I went around most of the experiment rooms and all that's missing is my own: Fiona."

"You mean... the Huntress… She's escaped?!"

"So it seems."

"One more reason for you to LEAVE now!"

Biodrag walked passed the broken incubator. "There's no actual danger I believe."

"She'll kill you Biodrag. Please!"

"I doubt she's strong enough to fight. The drugs infringed to her are far stronger then you believe. Besides, she must be ready for the tomorrow’s departure."

"Drugs? Yeah right! Then how do you explain her whereabouts?! And the Axalon crew can go along without that bitch!"

He was now at the door. "She encoded the security system and shot her incubator, and no, The Axalon cannot go without her."

"How the fuck can she encode the security systems?!", her voice was on the borders of sheer panic.

"How should I know? That's what I'm going to find out."

"You can't-"

"And send someone to clean up the remains of Andrews later".

"WHAT?!"

He cut the communication instantly. Annie was becoming hysterical for nothing. He had a job to do, and he was not going to fail. He went on to his quest, now in the corridor and following the trail of blood on the ground, leading east. His steps moved with the sound of the alarm, raging at him to leave the area with the occasional voice of a woman with no expression repeating: "All personnel must evacuate. Repeat, a problem has occurred. All personnel must evacuate."

He followed the trail a few more minutes, finding that Fiona had slipped a few times as she had walked to her destination, the blood being more concentrated at some parts.

He smirked at the thought, and walked on until he reached the room she was in. This one held other experiments in dormant state. The door slipped opened and he had no trouble finding her.

She was kneeling down and leaning against the large tube containing the body of Alana Frangiatti. The blood on her hands had created stains on the thick glass. All you could hear was a tired voice, having difficulties to pronounce the words, "Mamma...mamma...."

Biodrag walked in with no hesitation and when the door closed behind him, he stopped, watching her, and delighted to see she had not noticed him yet as she pleaded her mother to wake. Fiona had probably found the body by instinct, or luck.

Her bare purple skin was completely exposed, her features perfect. Biodrag had been the one to make the robot out of the human. She had once been in bad shape, but now, she was a renewed weapon who would be unleashed on an unknown planet. She had become what she hated, but had not noticed it yet. The smile became brighter and crueller as he looked and realised this. The drugs were too much in effect for her to realize her skin was now purple, that all that was left biological in her body was the blood pumping her new heart and part of her brain.

In fact, Biodrag sensed interest in her new robotic body. Though he had no right, he would not have minded. He had in fact created the perfection she already held. Even her tattoos still showed perfectly in this form. A large butterfly at the bottom of her back, and an unknown Japanese symbol on her stomach....

He approached her again; the steps clear enough for her to hear this time. Slowly, she moved her head to look back at him, her dazed red eyes not understanding his presence.

"Why hello, my dear, looks like someone had a premature awakening."

She made no answer, but with the bit of strength she had, she turned around slowly, trying so hard to get to her feet and not succeeding.

Biodrag chuckled, staring at her naked body. "You poor, poor thing. Hard to believe a whole galaxy could be scared of such a fragile little bird."

"....h...he...help....", she whispered in a drunken state.

"Help you? Ah but of course I will." He grabbed her shoulders firmly and forced her to her feet and off the ground. "You have a mission to attend to, and you're lucky I have no time to toy with you."

With this there was this odd hysterical laughter. She groaned at the unreal and new feeling of a touch on her metallic skin, not understanding it. She could hardly understand what he was saying but she knew it was no good news.

She raised her blank eyes to look into his, pleading for him to let her go, to let her die. He shook his head and slammed the back of her head against the glass of the incubator. She was instantly drawn to unconsciousness.

"Fool", he growled and moved her light body over his shoulder. "We'll find you a new little tube so you get ready to leave tomorrow."

That’s when the door to the room opened and a slender form rushed inside.

"What are you DOING??!", the young woman cried.

"I'm saving her ass, literally."

"You asshole, give her here! I'll take care of her until tomorrow! I don't trust you worth shit!"

"You have no right! She's mine!" he claimed like a madman, stepping back.

"I don't think so", a low yet powerful voice answered him. The large green robot entered the room and walked over to Biodrag. "You cannot claim a live being as your own. Even less hurt her."

"That's right you bastard! Now get out of here before I kick your sorry ass down to the Inferno! Got me?" the young woman shouted as she extended her golden nails.

Biodrag backed away from the brown haired woman. She had quickly learned how to use her newfound weapons it seemed.

"Fine, take her, but mark my words, RazorShell, I'll get you back for this, oh yes I will!"

With another of his crazy laughs, he tossed the body to the green robot and walked out of the room without looking back.

"It's alright Gemini, you can calm down now", RazorShell told her.

"I don't believe this!"

"I know, we'll stay with her for the night. Then help her to a pod tomorrow, as well as yourself."

Gemini lowered her head and bit her lip, looking away from the body, "Yes.... we will..."

"Everything will be just fine, I promise."

Gemini nodded and left the room alongside RazorShell. A few minutes later, the alarm stopped its rampage, announcing a new era....
