Info about next IDW BW series coming in

According to Chris Ryall, Editor-in-Chief of IDW Publishing, the next BW comic mini-series will start in August, and will be titled "The Ascending"!
When further details come out, I'll post 'em in this thread.
EDIT: The Beast Wars profile books are slated to start coming out in that month as well.

The August IDW solicitations have been made public, and as expected, there's listings for the next Beast Wars miniseries and the first in a 3-part "Beast Wars Sourcebook". Check out the listings, a cover, and descriptions:

The Sourcebook idea sounds awesome! Since there's a Transformers Ultimate Guide (which btw contains some information about BW), this new Sourcebook will be the perfect compensation.
Of course, it's good to know that a new BW comic series are coming! Thanks for the good news.

it gets better Silverclaw, Ben Yee did a lot of the work on the sourcebook and except for the writers themselves no one knows Beast Wars better than him.

It's more in the style of Dreamwave's More Than Meets the Eye profile books than a Ultimate Guide-style book. I.E., 1-to-2 page bios for every character, beautiful artwork of both modes and the like, but I wouldn't expect much "background info" on Beast Wars like in the Ultimate Guide book. I'm especially looking forward to this Sourcebook since not only does it cover the U.S.-released BW figures, but also the Japanese toys as well and even the BW Happy Meal toys!

Official soliciation for "The Ascending" #2, due out in September:
"Meet... The Pack! On post-civil war Cybertron, in the strained lull in hostilities between the Maximals and the Predacons, they are the team of hard-hitters that does not exist, is not sanctioned officially by any part of the Maximal High Command.
