okay, i tried to post this earlier, but stupid fragging school computers too slow...rrr!!!

anyway in geography, we were talking about transform faults in plate tectonics...yyyeah you no whats coming...i satrted thinking about beast wars, and then abheek (a guy who sits at the corner in the back) shouted, "TRANSFORMERS!!!!" and then digant joined him! and i think started singing the transformers theme tune! 'robots in disguise!' i just knew that SOMEONE would start it! it was inevitable!

and not even an hour ago, yousref n i were watchin Mint Royal's version of singing in the rain...a sort of techno version of it, and (u shd really look it up its really cool) coz my drama teacher wants us to come up with a breakdancing with a fusion (fuzors! :P ) of classical dance....anyway...there was rubbish on the floor like tissueboxes, old stereos etc, and they all got together to create breakdancing robots! and i said 'WOAH its just like transformers!' and my drama teacher said, 'yyyyeahhhh!!!!'   didnt know she even knew about transformers!

of course, im almost ALWAYS thinking about beast wars in school (not always a good thing, but there you go...)

...

but has anyone else had hat sort of thing happen to them at school/work? be interesting to hear! iv got loads but could not possibly put them down as writing! FIRE AWAY!

ps. i found out a friend of mine in eng is a TF fan, so wev decided to go watch the movie in london this summer! anyone want to join us...?

I loved to digitally colour my drawings and my teacher thought it'd be a good idea to get an IMAC for art class so that I, and others, could use it for digital art. I was the first to start using it and one day, while I was using Photoshop to colour my Depth Charge drawing, a boy two grades below me came up behind me and said, "Whoa, is that a Transformer?" I said yes, a BEAST WARS Transformer. He cried: "I loved that show! Man, that's so cool!" and chatted about the show and characters for a while. It was the first time I'd met anyone in South Africa who even knew what BW was, so that was cool.

Jagna, I am not sure if the TF movie is hitting UK cinemas as the same time as it hits U.S. screens, but if you're over in London at the time it's out, lemme know - I'd love to watch it with you. :)

when I was in grade nine, I'd space out and think about my favourite episodes, especially in Geography. In said class, my teacher would try and catch me not paying attention but I'd always get the answer right and thus she'd have no proof. I found out about that at a parent/teacher interview.

Once, in science class my teacher was asking about a green and yellow compound and I could've sworn that one of my classmates said Waspinator. lol

In English class in grade 10, I kept chuckling whenever my teacher mentioned Shakespear (DinoBot) let alone Hamlet... but we were working on MacBeth that year -_- my sister's lucky she got to learn about Hamlet in school. * :P to sister.*

In college I made a Predacon symbol using Adobe Illustrator (don't know where the pic is now, I'll have to try and make another one) but I couldn't display it because 1, I didn't want it displayed and 2, I don't have copyright ownership of the symbol.

I wasn't much for Shakespeare until I heard some of Megatron's lines in "Julius Ceasar". I felt kinda cheated that such lines weren't his ("Cry havoc! And let slip the dogs of war!") but it certainly made me pay more attention in class.

I guess it stands to reason that highly educated bots such as Megatron would have read Shakespeare anyway, heeheehee.

I'm in one of those locations that if ya mention something, chances are you'll find someone who also likes it.

I go to a college where any generation of Transformers is very popular. xD I proudly show it with the two Transformer T-shirts I own. (one gotten for free with the massive Brave Maximus some of ya saw me lugging about at BotCon '06, and the other I got for the holidays)

I also met another fan while I was playing Dance Dance Revolution, and I had my Decepticon T-shirt on. We went on a tangent about both topics that day, and now I have a friend who loves both DDR and TFs. I am happy.

i just posted this in the beast wars section as a reference to other sci-fi thingys, but i started thinking it dosnt count, a - coz it happened at school(more appropriate for this thread) b - its hamlet...not sci-fi or it wasnt intended. okay here it is...

we were reading hamlet in lit today (nearly fell asleep,as i wasnt rading aloud) and then i heard 'his primal instinct' (or smethin like that)...

ya sure there are loads of hamet references in beast wars, but BW REFERENCES IN HAMLET?!?!?! ya i know its not sci-fi or watnot but come on!!!! woo hoo
