okay, right now coz it is winter we r three hours ahead of GMT here in the cokd desert (yes it gets cold here, too!) and there dont seem to have been many posts this saturday. i read in the last thread that there are sat chates with like 5 ppl online. even tho its practically impossible until 2 weeks from now for me to go online on sats (school :( ), but id love to know when u peeps are online, coz then i have something to do other than read new threads, maybe reply to a few and have to wait till next day for a reply myself. i no it sounds like im complaining, but im not i just dont want to be here all alone!
so plz plz PLZ tell me when u guys tend to go online (GMT if u can)...im usually on 3-4/5 GMT (which is like 6-9 here so come on) i no ppl r busy an all with xmas coming up, but i like to talk to ppl, even if u find me annoying but cut me some slack. apart from a few of my frendz who im convincing to watch BW im all alone in this flippin country!
helo?

As it happens, and as you might know, the US is the BW hotspot. So there's three/four hours of our timezone . . . as for the general starting time for the chats . . . lesse . . . they start at 5/6 . . . sometimes 7 PM GMT. And I'm trying to make sure that I have that right, since I'm on EST, and they start between 1 and 3 PM my time.

Can someone double-check that for me? I'm so bad at remembering timezone differences . . .

The used to be at 2 pm eastern time, Wednesdays and Saturdays. Then it was only Saturdays. As far as I know, now it's whenever there is a crowd. Just hang out online for as long as you can on the weekend, and you'll end up in a chat eventually.

You're correct.

I was going to jump in to a chat this Saturday, maybe even try out Skype a little, but I only saw you (Sinead) on and AIM said you were Away.

I know I have no room to talk in this one, cause the last chat I attended was...a long while ago. life happened. school...

and now school is over! but I'm still as busy as ever going around with the pep band the whole month of december to earn a few extra bucks for traveling expenses next year. I'm thinking I wanna go west again. Las Vegas sounds like a good start, yes?

I was there once before, part of a two week family trip, enjoyed it very much.

Anyway. My point being that it is the holiday season, people are moving around, finishing classes/finals, visiting with family, taking breaks, working to buy those last minute Chirstmas gifts. It's hard for some to find their way to a computer during this time of the year.

That being said, Happy Holidays everyone!

i'm going to bed. 8)

There are generally enough people to make Bwint chat on Saturdays at 2pm EST, which is 7pm GMT. They don't happen every weekend, but most weekends. I usually start them as I have eveyone's AIM screen names on my buddy list, but I have been too busy recently and I will be away this Saturday too (office Christmas party). Jagna, I think wait to chat in the new year. From January things would have calmed down enough for a lot of us to pop online for a chat on the weekend. Hacker's right - this being the holiday season, everyone's too busy moving about/shopping/finishing off work or school to get online much.

I was thinking of arranging a big AIM and Skype chat party sometime in the New Year, if anyone was interested.

Sorry about that, Caboose. I was running around like a fool trying to get Christmasey things done.

As for Skype, I have a grand total of four people on it. Sapph, I think that a Skype chat would be a great thing to do. I'd offer, but I have absolutely NO idea how it works. After the first chat, though, I'll be good to organize them from there, if you need me to.

Yeah skype would be interesting for a chat.
