My thoughts on this week's update

First and foremost, despite the lack of fics and art, this update is fantastic! My comp didn't let me hear Depth Charge's voice, but I like the concept and congrats on winning the recording! That chibified Rattrap and Dinobot pic reminds me of Maximal, No More, when Dinobot rode Rattrap home and that was one of my favorite episodes.

I like the idea of a site mascot and Depth Charge is a good one. As for the poll, the question was very original. However, I think that it'd be better if we add the TriPred council and Ravage, since neither of them were on Megatron's team. Of course, I might be a little biased since I really like the TriPred generals.

The search option and the toolbar were neat and will help me to find fanfics, amongst other things that I like to read over and over again. As for the mailing list, count me in!

Thanks, Sapph!

Now, where did all of the fanfic authors go?

The fanclub's front page is supposed to play a recording when you visit, but my comp was dead silent.

I believe the idea is to click the link near the bottom right part of the fanclub page.

I clicked that, Quicktime showed up, and I heard nothing as the recording played. I guess it's time to slag/uninstall Quicktime.

Are you using FireFox, RiD? I think Quicktime is the default media player for that web browser. I have better luck with Internet Explorer. It uses Windows Media Player to play files. At the very least you may be able to save the file from the web page and play it from your files. :wink:

*bounces and runs around in circles* The update was fantastic, Sapph!!! Yaaaaay for toolbars and voice clips!!! =3 FISHYFISHYFISHY! XD *great big HUGS*

As far as fan fic writers, fics come in heaps and trickles depending on what phase of the moon it is and where the planets are. Fear not, we'll probably have more fics soon enough.

Unless Rampage is after us. >_>

"You won't get meeeeeeee!" *WHUMP*

@_x Ow...

Well, THIS fanfic author is battling writer's block as well as planning for Botcon. Severely without as many funds as she would wish to have. *facepalms* Go me.

There'll be a few more fics upcoming, once I finish the next installments for Nurann and Lady V.

Actually, Firefox doesn't really like Quicktime. You have to download it manually from the Apple website (something I refuse to do since it comes bundled with iTunes and I don't want extra stuff clogging my hard drive). Firefox is quite happy to play WMP files.

Ahem, with regard to the update. I love it, that is just infintely cool on so many levels.
