The most unique voice?

Unread post by una »

My mom and I are watching Beast Wars right now. I told her who do you think has the most unique voice?

She goes, "Megatron."

"Why?"

She says, "You want to believe him even if he is evil."

I thought that was interesting.

Who do you think has the most unique voice and why?

I'd agree with your mom since whenever I think of BW voice actors, David Kaye automatically comes to mind. It's a great cast overall, but I think he would rank #1 as most memorable. Yeeess....

I have to say Rampage, probably because it's Campbell Lane's real voice, I think it just sounds so different. 8)

BW Megatron for sure. It's like he has this grip, knowing he's evil but yet has that Darth Vader appeal too.

Mmm... That's two necros Velociberg... but it's been painfully slow lately, so it's cool this time. ;)

I would have to say, Scott Mcneil. I love the way he manipulates his voice for Dinobot to make him sound...lizard-like. And the nasally voice for Waspinator is pretty cool too. He uses the right pitch for the characters he's voice acting.

That's a tough one, but I think Terrorsaur wins. I like the way Doug Parker managed to combine high-pitched (like certain anatomical parts haven't dropped yet) with deep undertones, so it's still masculine.

Can you tell I'm bored?

I'll have to go with Inferno myself. :D True that Megatron and all of Scott Mcneil's characters are the most mermorable, but the question is whose voice is most unique. Besides,Jim Byrnes is simply amazing in my oppinion. How many people loose both legs at the knee before they even reach their thirties, pick themselves up again and decide,'It's not over yet! I can still make something of my life. I think I'll going into voice acting and singing.' 8)

Second to that,I pick either Rampage or Tigerhawk. Both equally fascinating and unique voices. And lastly Dinobot. Maybe that's a little biased on my part, but nobody can quite match Scott Mcneil. I'd love to see him and Frank Welker have a 'duel' of vocals some time. It would be truly epic.

Oh! Poor guy, but kudos to him for not letting it slow him down.

Heh, his name is Byrnes- how appropriate.

I know he's my favorite, but I still have to go with Rampage. It's so different to me.

Most the time he's not trying to sound badda$$ or evil at all, but everyone knows he is. Campbell Lane one awesome actor, and to have that be his regular voice...OOOOO!
