I hope it's okay for me to put a thread like this here, hehe.
Anyway, since I have been watching CSI lately, I was curious if any of you guys are fans of it. What do you think of the show?
Personally, I like it. It's kind of depressing and gruesome at times, but I think that the storylines are intelligently written, the characterization is awesome, and the show is very well thought out and put together.
My favorite characters are Sara and Grissom.
Life is like a novel. You don't know how it will end, or how long it will be.

I agree, Dreamscreamer.
I love CSI! I have a bunch of favorites on Vegas. In fact, the only character I don't care so much for is Sara. I'd say Grissom, Nick and Greg are at the top. I miss William Petersen but I think Lawrence Fishborne was a great replacement. I like his character.
I also enjoy CSI:NY but I don't watch it as often because it comes on late. I like Mack (sp?) and "Montana." It's funny, I can never remember her character's real name ever since Danny started calling her that. LoL Is it Annie?
CSI:Miami I can't watch simply because I don't really care for any of the characters, and especially David Caruso's acting (or lack of). However, I watched it that one time when Ray (from Vegas) was traveling to Miami and then to NY in the that three-part episode. I thought that was a neat idea to intertwine all three series together like that.
I try to catch CSI whenever possible, although I won't go out of my way to watch it. I'd have to say I prefer the original Vegas variety of CSI. Second place is a toss-up between NY and Miami. David Caruso's acting is terrible, yet it's funny as well. His character is so predictable, and you just know that the show will have several moments of the camera just zooming out as he walks into the sunset after saying the stupidest "well duh" lines ever created.
I was heavily into all of them for ages, but then life took over and I don't know whats going on in the overall story arc. There's a great episode in Supernatural where the brothers get dragged into the weird TV land and end up in a "formulaic crime drama" (I think thats what they called it) and completely poke fun as CSI (Miami specifically)
