Also, I noticed on the last page of the brochure that they are going to honor our favorite TF characters for the celebration dinner. Voting for the characters will start on May 10th at transformers.com. Please please please please please please please... even if you can't go! PLEEEAAAASE if you are a fan or thinks he deserves some honor Please vote for Dinobot!! Please.

Ya I already cast my Dinobot vote. I mean, he did single handedly save the human race from extinction at the cost of his own spark. None of the other contenders really hold that level of awesome

I think a lot of people are missing the point of this "Hall of Fame" thing. It's not about voting for your favorite character, it's about voting for characters that have helped to define or innovate the brand. BW as a whole helped to bring organic beast modes to the table, but Dinobot, individually? Not really.
Meanwhile, everyone remembers Soundwave, and the idea of a bunch of beast/robot minions that he introduced was very cool. I think he's a no-brainer for the 5th spot, honestly. If you ask most people to name/describe the first 5 TFs they can think of, chances are they'll name the four who are already being inducted into the Hall of Fame... and "the tape guy".
Hmm.. true. If I were to be asked if Dinobot alone made a huge impact of the TF brand itself, then I'd have to say no. But, then I would ask you how any one character could? There are tons of great characters out there that I feel had some kind of impact of the brand. A choice like that, I feel, is truly subjective. I, of course, am biased towards Dinobot 'cause I just love the guy and he happens to be on top of my list of favorites.
But that's besides the point. This post was merely an announcement about the brochure and a call to other DB fans (if they even want to do it). Whether you vote for Dinobot or not (or can vote for him at all... I guess I'll find out when the voting begins) is just fine with me. I did not intent my post to be a topic for debate. Just vote for who you want to vote for! ^__^
