Wait. Isn't JD the main character? I mean most episodes come form his point of view and he's the narorator.

RPG Characters: Nemesis,Aurora,Zodiac

I recall other shows that would continue on even after the main character left.. X-files comes to mind, for instance. Although personally I got tired of the show and stopped watching it before Mulder took his break from it, and I think the show was canceled not long after.

As for Scrubs it's a fun show. I watch it once in a while, if it happens to be on tv the few times I actually have the time to sit down and watch.
