The Intergalactic Highway

We are all clearly avid nerds/geeks round these here parts #raises fist and screams "NERD POWER!"#

So, I figure that many are interested in the Sci Fi realm. Having recently visited my local DVD shop and seeing that there are still many series I have not yet seen, I was wondering what each person's top 5 Sci Fi series are.

N.B. we'll leave Beast Wars out of the list because we already know that its awesome anyway

N.B. 2 I'm mainly referring to episodic TV series instead of movies, or you could add movies as another top 5 as well (that gives us more freedom to list )

In no particular order, mine are:

1) Babylon 5
2) Firefly
3) Farscape
4) Stargate (SG1/Atlantis)
5) Battlestar Galactica

2. Primevil

Those are the main ones for me.

Well, as Sci-fi stuff goes I like Star Wars. I also kind fo like the Lost in Space movie, but I've never seen the TV show. Other than that the only other Sci-fi thing that I cna think of that I like is the game Xenosaga.

I don't watch sci fi SERIES as much as movies. Um, unless you include Ghost Hunters, which I do watch, but I srsly am not sure if that's scifi. :/

In no particular order, my fave Sci Fi Movies would be:

1 Jurassic Park!! AHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!1
2 Independence Day!!! SQUEEE!!!
3 Alien!!! 8D Especially numbah 2!!!! WOOT!
4 Terminator 2: Judgement Day!!! 8DDDD AHHHHHHH AHHHHAHHH!!!
5 Signs!!! 88888DDDDD

I would also list The Abyss on there too, as well as other movies I'm forgetting right now. And TF07, I liked that one. Even though I think it could have been better, I liked it a lot.

Scratch "no particular order" - I love Jurassic Park sooooo much. But wait! Independence Day I could watch over and over again and not get tired of it! 8D (My stepdad does that, srsly. o_o At least twice a week.) BUT WAIT - Signs is SOOOO powerful a movie....And Aliens! RIPLEYYYY AHHH! But no!!! ARNOLD! And the T1000! Oh I can't choose! DX Keep the "no particular order"! DX

I'm not really a SciFi fan, I watch some SciFi stuff, but none of them are in my top 5 anything really

Hmm.. I rarely have time to watch tv as is, but I'd have to say that two of my favorites currently is Star Trek (TNG and Voyager) and Fringe.. The first few episodes of Fringe were horrible, but then the series really picked up.

Holy crap, you like Primeval too? Now I'm no longer just one alone fan of it.

1. Primeval(for a prehistoric creature maniac, this show was a god send. However I am aware of the inaccuracies in it.)
2. Star wars clone wars (first one not second one. The verdict is still out on that one.)

I don't watch much TV due to the fact I don't get cable. I also don't have a good judging system on shows.

Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles anyone?

I'm somewhat wary of what the writers were trying to... say towards the end of the second season, but I love this show. 'Twas canceled too early.

I guess I don't have much of a chance to watch Sience fiction shows. I mean, we only have bunny ears at my house. So the Terminator show really... kinda' is the one science fiction show I can say I followed.

Well, then there's the original Star Trek series, which we have on DVD at our house. It definitely deserves the reputation it has.

Primeval is pretty popular in the UK (where it was made) but it was cancelled due to the economic crisis, there is a film being planned of course though :3
