The Intergalactic Highway

I drew these two concept images for my OC, Orcariner, using the Photoshop Pen Tool. I've never done it before, but the result was actually pretty cool so I thought I'd post them here. For my fellow RPG'ers, my character finally has a face!





I'm kinda disappointed in the design, but this was all I can think of at the moment. Perhaps I'll just radically change him when future seasons arrive (i.e.- what BW did to Cheetor's image...twice).

Ah, I kinda assumed he looked like a mix between Cybershark and Torca. Going transmetal eh? Well I assume that means a tank or flight mode.

Hmm...I'm guessing his vehicle mode would be a boat or a submarine.

His beast mode is a boat/submarine, so.. yeah probably something that flies or rolls on land.

lol I didn't like Cybershark's or Torca's head. I would've used Cybershark's body but Orcariner doesn't use his tail nor head as weapons. As for my vehicle mode, I'm thinking...helicopter. Heh heh it's supposed to be ironic because Orcariner hates fliers, but he only reacts with hostility since he's always been envious of those who can travel by air. That, and they make difficult targets.

Amphibious gunship eh? Make sure to leave a spot for those new envious ground pounders

Hm.. maybe I'll give an attempt at a sketch sometime on it if you'd like.

That'd be awesome, but can you wait until I post the second concept version? I feel there needs to be more whale parts! Also, I want to retry splitting the bottom jaw that's on his upper back. In concept #1, it looked like he had bat wings so I'm going to choose a smaller brush (maybe) to refine it. I also need to color it so you're not left trying to pick and choose what to put in the random spots lol!

Well I was just going to do a pencil sketch at first but okay. Take your time on that sorta stuff.

lol thanks! The upcoming concept makes him seem a bit more organic, and I removed the round gem-thingy on his chest. I'm having trouble designing the new shoulder pads, but I have a feeling the head's gonna be the hardest part.
