by Joshin Yasha
I used to be known as "THe Dragon Princess" and eventually "Princess Draconia" for the longest time. Whenever I got to be 16 or so, I decided it was time for me to grow up, so I picked "Joshin Yasha", which means "Goddess of Demons" (Joshin = Goddess, Yasha = demons).

It's not polite to ask about someones name without explaining your own ;)

But i'll humer you :)

A long time ago, in a galaxy far far away.....
When i was RPing in the old chatbox of bigbot.com, i played a character called Lady Strike.
I was young and hadn't devaloped my fantasy as much as i have now, so don't mind the simplistic name.
I think i was 16 at the time... thats 10 years ago i believe :P

Anyway, a few months before Bigbot shut down their chat, me and some guy (he played Tortured Spark i believe) wanted a new character, so we made it so that our chars wanted to create their ofspring. *cough*

So in some secret lab somewhere on Cybertron, they fused essences of their own sparks together, and 2 new sparks where created.

Later theyr built 2 bodies and incerted the sparks. and thus 2 new chars where "born"

I cant remember what the name was he gave his new char, but i wanted mine to have a unique name.
After weeks of browsing and thinking, someone (cant remember who) gave me a japanese name for my char, telling me it would fit my char well.
Me, being a careful girl, decided to check out the name "Makushi".
It ment Apocalypse, and i was like wah???
I used the name to name a ship she built in another chat.

But he did gave me an idea about where to look for a name.
I was a sucker for history and myth, so i was well aware of the ancient griek and latin stories and language.

I searched the web for possible translations of topics i would like to use for my char's name.

I ended up with "hunter"
Ancient griek translated the word as "venator".
It sounded a bit to manly for a girly char, so i used the word "huntress", and out came "Venatrix".

You can say it was love at first sight.
I killed off Lady Strike rather quickly, and used Venatrix as my mane nick on the net.

Darth Venatrix in a RP i played in, in the game Star Wars Academy
Venatrix as my nick at Fanfiction.net etc.

So their you have it ^^

by Lady Venom
I don't remember anymore the defining moment of how my username came to be... a lotta people said I had a nasty habit for biting remarks, and one day at high school, my friends and I all tried to guess what the other would be if they were an animal.

I was told I'd either be an adder (a snake) or a black widow.. since both were poisonous in their own right, I chose Venom, and since I am nothing like a Lady. I thought it was a cute play on words.

Nowadays I go simply by LV because I don't feel a total kinship with the name anymore, but I still use this one instead of my real one. It's actually the name (LV) on my transcripts for College as the preferred name of choice.

So my teachers, class-mates and everyone else always calls me LV in real life.

:D

Sorry, my bad. I guess I should explain. Well when I joined here, I wanted a Beast Wars related screen name, because I kind of wanted to break away from my trend of Final Fantasy related scene names I have on other sights.

Any way of course most probably figure that SkyxDB is short for SkyfirexDinobot. (A cannon/OC pair of mine) Any how, I was having trouble coming up with a screen name, and I'll be honest I was a little reluctant to use this one at first, but I could think of and I didn't have time to sit around forever to think of a screen name so I went with it and I'm called Sky by my friends that I RP with on fanfiction.net anyway so I also figured might as well stick with the nickname.

by Sinead
Well, many people assume that my penname is my actual name. *chuckles* It's not, but it's all cool.

My penname came out of my first serious BW fanfic about a girl named Awn'nead. Her name comes from the Irish names Aine (AWN-yah), and Sinead (shin-AIDTH). Her mother's name was Sinead, and her grandmother's name was Aine, I believe. I can't remember, and I have to reedit that entire series. There's a LOT of it and I never finished it.

Anyway, I didn't want a penname that was weird and outta the loop, but I also wanted something that was interesting, not seen before. So I took Sinead. Recently, I've added onto it, such as on fanfiction.net so that it has become Sinead Rivka in it's full form. And even that's a play on names.

So that's my penname.

by Optimal Optimus Primal
My handle started in the same place Venatrix's story did. The old chat known as BigBot.com back in 1997. I often used TM Rattrap and Optimus Primal at the same time in that chat, but as OP grew on me more and more throughout Beast Wars, I figured I'd drop the rat. Don't worry, I didn't hurt the little guy. I gently placed him back in his rat cage with some cheese. Anywho, since I was going to use Primal more often, I realized I had a problem with other people in the chatroom using the same name and everyone would get me confused with someone else. My side of the story is that I decided to add the "Optimal" part in the beginning of my handle which distinguished me as "Optimal Optimus Primal" because of his upgrade in the third season. However, others from that chatroom still argue with me to do this day that someone else was also using that handle in the chat before I was and that I didn't come up with it. I never crossed paths with the other OOP so I can only take their word for it. Eventually, the supposed other OOP stopped coming around anyway, and the handle became mine (assuming it wasn't in the first place). For all anyone knows, that guy could've "stolen" the name from me. Since that chatroom, everyone has known me by that handle so I kept using it as I weeded out to other message boards. And here I am! ^_^

I was trying to come up with a name for a new OC I had created.

I tried "Dirgeclaw" first, but didn't like the sound of it,and in the end, decided to got with "Razorclaw",even if the name was already taken.

Razorclaw wasn't always intended to be me,but our personalities are so much alike, that we eventualy blended. Since she is my primary OC,I gave her the honor of being my screen name.

How it works:

General Mavis(I haven't gotten that far back yet  )=Stormwarp=Razorblade=Razorclaw

Confusing,yes?

I haven't evolved(So to speak) her any further than that, but she has a long character development.

by Wonko The Sane
A long time ago in my very first Forum ever I was called Hanyou15.Back then I was a big time InuYasha Fan and spread the love all over the Nickelodeon Forums....eventually I became the next User called Minosayia, which is both my YTV Yap! and DeviantArt Account, when I was still a rabid InuYasha Fan.Minosayia was actually one of my Original Characters from my Original Novel, and the name is still being used for that character.

Of course that InuYasha craziness continued when I became Nemises in Anime Chains Forum. It was a misspelling of the Greek Goddess Nemesis but I continued to stick with it.I also went under names such as Hakudoushi and Byakuya, named after the Spawns of my Favourite InuYasha character,Naraku~Sama.

The Username Wonko The Sane came when I rekindled in my love for Beast Wars. When Waspinator used it in 'Dark Designs' I had to get that name.I was also curious where that name really came from,so I checked up at TFWiki and I found it it belonged to two names:Benson Yee and John Watson. Many of you know Been Yee's story from Fan to writer for the Transformers Franchise, and John Watson was the character from So Long,And Thanks For All The Fish from The Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy so,after watching the Hitchhiker Movie, and my dream to be a part of the Transformers Franchise,my current name is Wonko The Sane.

For me, when I first broke out on the Internet scene at a tender ten years of age, I started on Neopets with the username supernewf21 (note: this is still the same screenname I use on Youtube). Two years later I created a spare account with the name the_newfie_haystack ('newfie' being a slang term for a Newfoundlander and Haystack being one of my RL nicknames). This was the first ever name I used on my first internet forum, the ToO, which I still frequent to this day. People called me Haystack on there, and that eventually became my biggest internet nickname.

by Baron Fel
my name is based off of a minor character from the Star Wars comics and books.

Baron Soontir Fel is the best pilot in the Empire after Darth Vader and a soldier working to uphold peace and stability in a chaotic galaxy fighting against the Rebellion and any who threaten the stability the Empire brings. (Who eventually defected when he was betrayed for refusing to commit a war crime, so he went to the Rebellion as the remains of the Empire were obviously worse then the Rebels.) Later he rejoined the Empire under Zahn in order to defend the borders of the galaxy against invaders who would one day arrive. In the new "Legacy" comics his descendants rule the galaxy in the Fel dynasty.

LOTR name generator :D. Actually, I started off as stargirl145 on Neopets (stargirl145 is still the email account I use for school and work), and eventually stumbled onto some elvish sites while building Neopets guilds for people. One site was a name generator. "Nurannon" was the elvish root it gave me, with "Nurannonwen," "Nurannonion" and "Nurannoniel" as variants. I can't remember my Hobbit or Dwarvish names other than green-something and somethingorother Ironnose respectively. Anyways, you can see which one stuck ;)

:D Hey, pretty cool stories everyone!!!! It's really fun to see just how creative and unique everyone's names are!

Baron Soontir Fel was the father of Jagged Fel, correct ?
Its been a while since i've something Star Wars.

I know this becoz my husbent thought it cool to give our youngest daughter the name of a character from the books.

Jaina.
After the daughter of Han Solo and Leia Organa Solo.

Ugh... i drifted off-topic here... forgive my ignorance... It was unintentional i assure you.
