A LEvel results....WHHEEEE!

Unread post by Jagna »

(I'm just copyin wht i put up on DA, my fingers are shaking a little too much to write it all again...)

two As and a C!!!!

The C was to be expected really (geo), but WHOOOO! My heart is still racing. also ive just been watching the news...

I am 1 in 4 to get the top grade! according to the BBC, thatis

WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

yes, the number of ppl getting As has gone up, but TWO As? awhawhaw!

(note: please just let me blow my own trumpet, even if I do sound a little hotheaded and pompous...plsssss!)

Overall, for all three Drama exams combined, I only lost 10 marks! and that was unit 6. still i was like, wtf? HOW?! coz thts like the hardest paper....the WRITTEN paper! O_o

speaking of how the *@#% did that happed, i got more for Faustus than i did for Alias Grace in Literature. FAUSTUS??!?!! WTF?! I LOATHED Faustus! O well. I didn't do so great on unit 6 (the Wuthering Heights/Return of the Native comparative study and unseen poerty), but it's still an A ^_^ It's probably the unseen poetry that did it. Bleck.

as for geography...i was really miffed when some girl opened her results on TV and she screamed she got an A for Geography T_T Don't start. I got less than half marks on what I thought was my best subject, physical Geopgraphy.....and I think that's the one i resat from the januaray paper!! WAAAAH!

BUT it's closer to a B than i've ever been for geography, so hurrah anyway! I know this, because the edexcel site (our exam board) had a little 'Gradeometer' thing, which was funny, and quite relieveing. Coooo close to a B, dam!

I'm still very happy. Drama unit 6 went better than unit 3 last year! (I got 80/90....soooo close! >.< but full marks for my performance, and full marks for my coursework! I need an icon like this: :hallelujiah: or however you spell it.

I was jumping up and down in the itchen this morning i was so thrilled! ^_^ Called my mum who's with my gparents in Scotland, my sisters still asleep so she doens't know, lol, but my dad is happy for me. my friend also sent me her results, and she's pleased too.

>->

.....PARTYYYYYY!

Anyone else here get their A LEvel results? .........

....anyone here do thier A LEvels? No? Different exam board? But there must be some people, go on, tell! :D

I just... take an exam... at the end of the year... for each of my subjects, and basically pass the class (whether with great grades or not).

These A levels sound incredibly momentous, and I am happy for you Jagna.

Great job!
I understand... you are, after all, a predacon.

Congratulations on your grades. Well done. :D

I got my AS results today. 3 A grades and a B. The B angers me since it's in History, the subject I plan on doing at University if I go. Other subjects I take are Media Studies, Geography and Philosophy & Ethics.

Media I was intending on dropping, but I got my highest amount of marks in that, so it's made my choice harder now lol.

Well done, Jagna! Those are fantastic results! My sis just got her A-levels and passed comfortably, so my family are happy for her right now. I know how important they are so I realize just how great you've done to get such results. Congrats!

Congratulations, Jagna! You totally rock! I was horrible in school. Well, only when it came to math and social studies. XD

Thanks you, one and all! :D

guruhamboy: Kudos to you, too! I wasn't actually bothered by my AS results, for some reason. I didn't even get them till I was back at school XD

.............wait......HISTORY? I'd say celebrate the B! Not only is it a good grade, but HISTORY? God, I had enough trouble with IGCSE Hisrtory. I very nearly got a D!

Sapphire: Congrats to your sister! Tell me, was she watching the news on the A Level results as well? Comparing herself to the other people and scowling at people who got an A in Geo instead of her? >.> ......but I didn't do that, noooo....

What's funny is, the unis I want to go to, the minimum requirement is three Cs, so......I'm good! ^_^

Thanks again, guys! *hugs*
