Sparkmates and Their Telepathy

Unread post by Nurann »

This may seem like an absolutely rediculous question, but you guys know how it is when the light bulb turns on and won't go off...

When did the concept of romantic spark bonding, with the whole "I can read your mind" thing, become... well, canon? FF.net has seen more and more of it over the last five years, although I think the first time I really saw it was in Sinead`s fic "Stolen Virtue," with her and Dinobot. So was it first developed in one of the shows and the idea has now taken off, or did it evolve over time based on popular fan fictions?

 curiosity is killing elf. Thank you!

i'd say it probably sparked off with Air Razor and Tigatron, wouldn't you say? then Beast Machines went crazy with the whole spark thing and so on and the oracle and matrix nonsense. and i've found tht many fans who write fanfics (although not all) feel they can improve or replace beast machines, or even take ideas from it...for exapmle, if i ever get through the second chapter, my fic sries seeks to forget all about BM, as does Silver's. Oh! and don't forget so many cool RPGs tht deteste the idea of screwing up the characters

....hookay, back to the topic.......what was the question?

the aprk bonding, definately Air Razor and Yigatron. as for the telepathy........the fault of BM and developed into fanfics

..............that was too long. Sorry Nurann
