Costumes

Hey hey. Having been inspired by Sinead's V post and my subsequent mental tangent, I have come up with this concept.

Now, some of you have met me in person, others have seen photos and so forth. I'm a huge fan of the cosplay concept (although Jack Sparrow was really my first) and was wondering if any of you had any ideas for me to get dressed up as. One that I have gotten quite a bit has been Agent Alexander Anderson from Hellsing http://images.google.com.au/imgres?imgu ... n%26sa%3DN (wow that's a FAT link). Also if anyone has any of their own cosplay pics, ideas and whatsits this would be the time to dig em up. ENJOY!

Awesomeness! I haven't seen the series, but respect the look... ahhh... to be dressed up with other crazy dressed up fans

So where was that? Local convention, party or just going out for the night? (Please note that Jack Sparrow was kind of the latter )

Mark my words, someday, somehow, I will cosplay as Inferno.

I would really, really like to be able to make all sorts of really high quality BW costumes, or at least partials of them (like boots, helmets, weapons, etc). Apparently someone around here had a full-blown Waspinator costume this past Halloween, but I have only witness' remarks to go on. =/ If I could find the guy, maybe making these costumes wouldn't be as impossible as it seems. I've never done cosplay before and I've always had help making any other costume (none of which were as complicated as I imagine TF suits will be, though they did look nice).

Hey Silver, in case you need new ideas, there's this anime/game called Angelique... there are two characters that you could probably cosplay as.

I have never cosplayed anything, because I don't have the patience to make the outfits and I don't know if there are any costume shops around here. Plus, most of the conventions are too far away (like, ya know, 100-200 kilometers away).

But some characters I'd WANT to cosplay come from Harukanaru Toki no Naka de and Prince of Tennis.

Btw, there is this guy in PoT, called Jin Akutsu... nearly everyone says he looks scary and that they hate him because of his rude and rowdy attitude... but I actually LIKE what he looks and acts like (at least after he mends his ways, a bit).

And a guy who plays him in Tenimyu (a Prince of Tennis live musical), JURI, looks like this as the character. ...I had no idea real people who look that scary even EXIST.

Silver, that was for a convention called Anime Boston, and I wore that outfit back in ... ah, lesse ... 06, I think. Yeah. That was a fun weekend.

... I think I'm gonna reprise that costume at some point, and jazz it up a bit.

I'm new to cosplay but I think it is very fun!

I'm working on Zapper Zaku from SD Gundam Force for Megacon next March. (mainly because I'm angry that there was a whole other season that exists and they don't seem to want to show in the US, all this time and I didn't know it!!! *rant*)

I would love to see someone do some BW cosplay. That'd be cool!
