Was he a soldier? A scientist? A butcher? A baker or even a candlestick maker?

Place your thoughts as to what he might have been before the Beast Wars and the energon accident that fried his logic circuits and memory chip.

I think he could have easily been a soldier or perhaps a survivalist who was enlisted to the Axalon due to his tough, hardy nature.

What do y'all think?

I like to think that back on Cybertron he was a loyal, maximal soldier but with some degree of intelligence who was on board the Axalon as one of the few soldiers who'd be there in case those on board ended up in any kind of conflict.

But then I like to think that his loyality was pushed to the extreme during Tarantulas' medling and his Beast form being an ant and that's what pushed him over the edge into becoming a total psycho.

does it matter what he used to be? I like how he is now. he's funny. and that berserk scream! You know how funny it sounds sped up? LOL.

Anyway. I think he used to be a Maximal soilder. Loyal but with personallity, not that he doesn't have one now, I think also might have been a bit of a manic back then but not as much as now. lol. I dunno. Just a guess.

Hmm... I think that he has something of a soldier, or more of a guard with him ( hihi, a butcher...I can already imagine it: 'For the royalty...
of meat!!)

Guess becoming an ant must've scrambled him up very much, poor sap.

A bodyguard. If he was ANYTHING like he was in Beast Wars, that's what I'd expect.

Though...was it ever confirmed that the protoforms had lives prior to BW? I mean, that's the idea I hear people working off of most of the time, but I don't remember it ever being stated in the show.

It was actually confirmed in the prequel comics. Protoforms are simply bots who've not assumed a form, be it vehicle or animal.
