Reporting from the BotCon

Hey guys! Just thought I'd drop by before the day starts here in Rhode Island. Yesterday I didn't roll into the hotel untill about 6:30pm. The traffic in R.I. was absolutely horrendous but we made through. After checking in with the hotel, we rushed over to the hotel where the copnvention is actually taking place (only a short walk away) and grabbed our pre-registration packages. After that we searched for food for dinner and then made our way to the theater to see the new TFs movie. Guys, go see it. It is absolutely awesome. I was skeptical at first because no one knew what it was going to be like with Michael Bay behind the wheel, but I was NOT disappointed. It was awesome. Just to hear Peter Cullen's voice behind Prime on the big screen was spectacular in itself. I highly recommend any TFs fans to see it!!! And I think I found my love for Bumblebee all over again.

He was great! They also had the exective producer (Brian, not Steven) and two of the actors show up (Tyreese Gibson and Raechel Taylor) before the movie started. It was so fun to watch a movie like this when the theater is 100% TFs fans. I've never experienced such a thing before. "Whoos" and claps and laughs at everything taken from G1 and their styles and transformations. It's a must just see!
And now I must head off for breakfast and David's first panel. XD I'll see you guys later! I have yet to find the other BW Inters though I've at least established contact with LDC. XD

D: We've been looking for you! Nurann and a couple other people (including myself) were at the first David Kaye panel (we were in the second row back, right in front of him). Word on the street is we're all meeting at the food court in the mall at 1:00, so if you see this before then, go!
But anyways, David Kaye is awesome. He talked a bit about the new cartoon (which sounds like it might be promising), and he talked a lot about Megatron (mostly BW), and told some anecdotes and stuff.
I'm about to head off to the movie writer's panel, which should be really good.

I finally found you guys! Yay! This is so fun. XD
Thank you, RA. It's been great. Are you here too? How'd you know my name? Not that I care, just curious. ^.^
Yesss, I walked in late on David's first panel this morning because I couldn't find the slagging room.

You can follow so many signs until they disappear and then it's like, "Uh, where to now?" And you stand there blissfully staring at the walls and ceiling until you figure you should just start walking where you haven't been yet in this huge hotel.

They need more signs! But when I came in, I sat down in the front row with my brother his fiance, and then my mom stumbled in afterwards. But that was a great panel, and lunch with everyone, including David, was great too! I love you guys! I gave him his drawing tonight at the autographs. He had set it down propped up against his table's legs if anyone noticed. And I have two pieces in the art contest but it doesn't look good for me. LoL There is some awesome art in there!!! I was one of the few BW art, though. The rest looked like G1 and new movie pieces, but they were all spectacular. I would like to buy them. XD
By the way, RA, I love your avatar! *huggles the spiffy looking Primal* Splee!

Lunch was great and I glad I went. Those fries were unbelievingly good. I post more when I had time.I just got home and need sleep.

BLURGH I ALREADY POSTED ON THE BOTCON 2007 THREAD! Oh well another chance to rant and rave again about the AWESOMENESS OF THIS YEAR'S BOTCON! WOO!
I SWEAR TO FREAKIN PRIMUS THAT IF THERE IS ANOTHER PARTY-LIKE SETUP WITH EITHER STAN BUSH, ANOTHER LIVE BAND OR A DJ FOR BOTCON THEN I AM SOOO THERE. Next time I'll have to give my voice a bit of a warm up before singing in public again. HA! Still get a buzz from thinking about it.
Dave, Stan and Pete are all super awesome. I hope to meet them all again in the future along with any other voice actor working in the Transformers universe. The previews of things to come look sweeeeeet and my bank account is sore, however I can ease my pain with the many shallow possessions I now own. Toys, leather pants and two shiny new trench coats. Just can't really go wrong can you?
Thanks to everyone there who made me feel welcome and I am so glad that I can now put a face to many names... or should that be many faces to many names? or many.... GAAAHH! BRAIN HURTY THING... #runs off to watch more Invader Zim#

I forgot to mention how silly it was of me to not know that SilverfromOZ was sitting just a couple rows behind me in the theater for the new movie.

When I met him formally outside the Cheesecake Factory I felt so stupid. "OH HEY, SILVER! Yeah, I feel stupid that I didn't realize it was YOU in my theater that my brother and I were talking to about with your flashy shirt." Der.

But it was awesome.
Renegade Artist = Kathryn?! KATHRYN! HI! Did you already tell me that you were going to be moving to this board? LoL If so, I'm sorry I forgot or wasn't paying attention. I thought your handle sounded a little familiar. XD I'm such a retard. Anyway, it's so nice to see you here!!! I think what stank the most about this BotCon was that Garry wasn't there, but I can't have everything my way.

It was awesome with David, Stan and Peter. By the way, your copy is signed by David and made out to you. I can't wait to send it to ya! As soon as I handed it to him, he said, "Wow!" He loved it. It looks so much like him! Kudos to you!
Thanks about my avatar! ^^
You're quite welcome. ^.^

Hey, Pacer! I hope so too! I would love to meet you. ^.^
I love the fact that he couldn't even remember half the things he been in.

I loved that as well.
This is probably my last night with Internet access, guys, just so you know. If you care. Hah! I'm currently in Nova Scotia with my mom, continuing our vacation from the BotCon to Maine and so forth. Our motel in Maine doesn't have internet; we don't even have service for our cell phones. We were there on Sunday night but will be returning after our tour here in Canada on Tuesday. On Wednesday night, we'll be taking refuge in Boston. I don't know if I'll have the internet there. If not, no big deal because I'll be home by Thursday afternoon or evening. Hopefully. Conneticut traffic was awful on the way to Rhode Island and we lost a lot of time. I hope that won't be the case on Thursday. -.-
