Yeah Airazor doesn't exactly look female... but she does have curves... around her waist.
just remember, in Japan Airazor was a man
Japanese dub Airazor does not exist. I just pretend japanese airazor is a female with a deep voice like Doctor Girlfriend.
Besides Japanese airazor came second she it doesn't count.

Yeah I never actually watched that show.. Too busy to keep up!
I think that robots are mostly seen as asexual and also android-like.
And since they are not supposed to reproduce (I am not so sure with the Beast Wars robots ) I think there was no real need to produce female bots.
But it is intersting that they can fall in love and kiss, and eat, and sleep and perhaps.... other things as well
If a woman however would have dated Dinobot I would have personally kicked her out of the series I am too jealous.

why do females just have to be for reproduction? I for one wouldn't want to be viewed as such. That's derogative.
I bet he does. Or not. Since he's not good around females anyway. They make him nervous.
AWW is Dinobot shy? XD

What was Optimus before he was a truck? I mean what kind of vehicle mode did he have? I'm sorry. I can't refer to them by "it". That bothers me too much to use it when refering to a sentient being.
This leads to a complicated question. Does Sari really have a gender?

As Sari is half human, thus half earth organic she is a female. The only reason you can't call them "It" is due to english's pronoun limits. Many other languages have more ambiguous ways of talking about things.
Pretty sure before it was a truck.. it was a cybertronian truck. Just like Bumblebee was a cybertronian car, and Wheeljack was a cybertronian van..
Actually NaitoKage referring to them as an "It" makes me uncomfortable. Seeing as Optimus is referred to as a "He" in the shows and the comics and the fact that he looks a great deal like a he.
His gender is actually very noticable. Whether that was intentional or not Optimus Prime had a definate "male" look to him.

well as Jetfire and Arcee mentions in Spotlight:Arcee in IDW's continuity the Transformers just chose one day to use the male pronouns, just because they wanted to :3 (he mentioned it because Arcee was making a point that something Jhiaxus did to her made all the other Transformers start using female pronouns around her)

Dreamscreamer wrote:I put this topic in this area since I'm referring to any and all of the Transformers series' in general, not just Beast Wars.
Okay so, first of all, I am aware that Transformers started off being more aimed toward boys, at least I think that is what I heard. So feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.
And I know there are a fair number of female Transformers characters, such as listed here: http://transformers.wikia.com/wiki/List ... ansformers But overall they don't see to get quite as much attention or screentime as the mechs do.
So what do you guys think? Do you think that things could have been better if there were more femmes--or if the femmes that were there appeared more frequently?
Sure, I think there should be more female Transformers. I would very much like to create Beast Wars and or Transformer episodes with the canon chracters and or created characters as well. I think it would be very cool, complete with music and sound effects. I do not know yet how to make videos like this yet, but I would really like to learn eventually.
Let us agree that they are sexy and our dreams belong to us
O.O
*avoids you* :p
I admit that I am really in love with Dinobot and in my dreams I do many things with him... I just love him. He is my hero. He is handsome, big and strong and intelligent and....
'talks like a true Dinobot fan'... and that is because I really want to 'talks in an inappropriate way' him.
we will never know, because these robots are only part of our imagination. that is good: I would not want a Megatron running wild on our world.
