(You know, I'm surprised Nemesis didn't notice or focus on the crashed spaceship considering that would be more valuable to her then a escape pod.)
Truth be told I have tried to function on about 2 hours of sleep per night for the past week, and it's wrecking havoc with me. Nem did not notice simply because 'I' did not notice in my sleep deprived zombie-like state of mind.. I'll just have her plan to come back for it later after Sonar and Starshadow finished whatever they were doing.)
As Nemesis approached the source of the signal emitted from the escape pod, her thoughts lingered on the craft Sonar and Starshadow had been fighting by. She hoped it would still be in salvageable condition when she was done with whatever was causing this signal. Perhaps she was on her way to another, as of yet undiscovered, craft even. The thought brought some much needed joy to the femme. Of course she doubted she'd be that lucky, but it was an appealing idea nevertheless. Sonar and Starshadow could finish each other off for all she cared, in fact she would welcome that should it occur. There would be less questions and interference with her taking the spacecraft for herself if they did.
Nemesis was rather enjoying her solo flight towards the signal, not another Predacon or Maximal in sight thus far. It was quite peaceful, in fact, that is until Megatron's voice broke the silence.
Megatron wrote:Inferno,Waspinator, Terrorsaur, Nemesis.. Report your status,Nemesis continue tailing the pod. The rest of you, meet up with Nemesis on investigating this pod, leave the Starhopper to Glowstick's team.
Her good hopes of acquiring the vessel immediately dropped as the purple dinosaur's orders chimed through the comlink.
He was sending Glowstick to the other ship..
Of all the Predacons, that slimy squid was the one Nemesis hated the most. Since day one the two of them had butted heads, ever since she had awoken aboard that blasted ship he was always travelling in. If Nem thought for even a moment that the Leviathan could hold up in space, she would steal the ship in a nanoclick. But seeing it wasn't very fast nor struck her as solid enough to survive the trip, she hadn't even bothered to try.
She thought for a moment before responding to Megatron's hail, contemplating if there would be a point to argue that she should go after the starhopper instead. But knowing Megatron, her objections would not matter. So she decided to proceed to her target.
"Approaching target now," she responded as she started her final approach and descent .
Some distance away, at the Maximal base, Aurora almost felt a bit overwhelmed as she started the formal introductions. Especially as Icebreaker excused himself and left. There went her only familiar face thus far, but the others seemed friendly enough.
She glanced between them, trying to familiarize herself with each of them and their function. The big green one was otherwise preoccupied, so she turned her attention to Frilla and Rattrap. The other female was small, like her, and was accompanied by a slightly larger male who smelled a bit like a dumpster.
Frilla wrote:"Nice to see your online Aurora, I'm Frilla."
"Nice to meet your acquaintance as well," Aurora replied sweetly with a smile.
"Both of you," she corrected herself, turning to face Rattrap. Then she noticed another male coming closer, although this one seemed a little less friendly. Nevertheless Aurora greeted him with a friendly smile.
Dinobot wrote:"It appears I am very late. How did we acquire you?"
"Oh, I just came online. In the lab. I'm still getting used to everything myself, so maybe Icebreaker can fill you in a bit when he returns."
