i thought kiss players were well known about, for...obvious reasons..

basically they are human girls who kiss autobots to make them stronger, the toys are Binaltech figures(alternators) who come with small human girl figures to drive them

See....I enjoyed the original TF, it was pure cheesey gold...I mean, has anyone REALLY looked at G1 Megatron? His crotchplate looks like a frackin' DIAPER..

I find the anime versions of shows from Japan try to incorporate humans too much into a purely mechanized show...it's a shame, but the other stuff is pretty good...just...their TF's remind me too much of shite like Power Rangers and such..

Why do people automatically assume if a woman likes a TF's character, she wants to have a romantic relationship with them? Hello? They're like..two stories tall purely alien robotic technology... 0_o

Man, I don't get all the hate for Kiss Players. I'd have thought the gals would be all over it. I still think they're are all just mad they didn't think of the 'Transformer gets powered up by a kiss from a human girl that he's bonded to' first.

Okay, the comics were ( deliberately, because the artist was trying to be edgy ) drawn to look like paedophilia, but the characters were all 18+ and it's still just fanfics all over again. ( No, not all fanfics. You know the ones I mean: "Hi, my name is Jennisandra Ebony Nightwave and I'm fifteen years old and I married Starscream and we have sex just like humans. Yay!" ) But do it up official ( with plot! ) and the story they were reviewing with, "Cool! Write more!" is suddenly the Worst Thing Ever? ( And, again, this doesn't cover every person with their own issues against Kiss Players, just the ones who annoy me. )

Or maybe everyone was just scared off by Legion. Spoiler: Legion's tongue looks like a tentacle penis. Oh, and he eats people for power instead of getting kissed. Decepticons, eh?

Frankly, I think the kiss power-up concept is pretty dumb and I can't stand the art. But there're some neat bits in it. I think it's worth looking up, but I always think it's worth looking up canon.

... Oh, right, characters in Beast Wars. POWERHUG! I know, he was in one of the Japanese series. I can still want him. Also Lazorbeak. Can't go wrong with sky pirates. Antagony is pretty cool, too. Or drop Flamewar in Beast Wars and watch her complain that Megatron is Doin' It Rong. ^_^

No you are not alone in that LV. I noticed that years ago and even made comics mocking the very fact. It's a diaper all right. a DIRTY diaper. XD

as for kiss players. i don't know much about it besides Starscream posseses some girl and forgets to make her pull up her underpants and she walks around with them hanging around her knees... and she builds him a new body and such... doesn't really interest me that much.
maybe some better writing would do better... and no ankle panties!

I will swear to the end of my days that those Bakugan toys which are a now all the rage are based on Kiss Players. Not the show,nessisarily,but the toys that they use on the game board. Kiss players are a little creepy in my opinion,but I actually incorperated them into Animated(Scary things go on in my head)as enconomy-sized Earth-built Transformers whose tranformation sequences are activated by human DNA,specifically the DNA of the person who owns them. Kind of like the economy-sized Soundwave,designed for everyday use.

I should really be writing this down. I've already incorperated several ofthe forum members into Animated. Sky is an Elite Guard,Tor is a techno-organic Decepticon,Wonko is an Earth Autobot,Aesir is an ancient warrior from another dimention...

Oh yes. And I'm a former Decepticon,disguised as a human,working at Sumdac Systems. ^_^

Whoa, I just used an entire post to babble about something not even related to our topic! Yikes!

Personally,I would like to have seen some more G1/BW interactions in the show. The visits from Starscream & Ravage and the brief peeks at Prime and Megatron just weren't enough for me. What if the Seekers came out of stasis and started running amuck? What if something went malfuctioned aboard the Ark and the only way to stop events from being torn apart was to revive Wheeljack and use his knowlage? Unlimited possibilities!

Also,whatever happened to the rest of those stasis pods? Bad Maximals! leaving your comrads hanging...literaly!
