No, you must be thinking of the Transtech concept art or just individual fanart. These comics are in the latest issue of the Club comic which is just now arriving at mailboxes, and the preview I linked to just went up about a week ago, with no peeks of what was going on with the comic before then.

Instead, I think a good direction to go would be the prequel route. Optimus mentioned that there were 300 years of peace prior to the beast wars. A lot could have happened in three centuries, secret wars, disease outbreaks, economic downfalls and black projects of all kinds.
That does sound interesting, yesss, but although it'd be awesome to see it return I think that BW/BM has been left too long to be picked up again in a TV series. Even if it was, would it still yeild the same high-quality result? I say enjoy the classics in their untarnished glory
In my humble opinion I reckon TFs will be around for a loooooong time. It's survived over 20 years, so what's another decade?

if they create a new show needs an improved plot
cons fighting bots its a bit old now...
mayb sumthing more like SG1 where they go exploring to new worlds and find new inhabitants
wat other ideas do u have for a new series

Good bots fighting bad bots is what we live for. You should see some of the comments transformers animated got because the Autobot's haven't been fighting the decepticons yet. Most were like; WE WANT THE DECEPTICONS!
You're gonna have a LOT of angry fans getting all over you if you change it.
