*raises hand* Especially when I use my most common nicks - Beldarius and Raiden. XD

I, being a guy, have been mistaken for a girl.

On this site no less.

 Now that's a rarity.

I always hear of a girl being mistaken for a guy. Not the other way around.

The same thing happened to me though as well, everyone thought I was a girl

i've been mistaken for a guy on youtube. My youtube account username is very female sounding and yet they must think because I mostly post transformers videos that I must be a guy. XD
I've been called "dude" and 'sir" quite often. XD

I was called "dude" in real life when I was 9. :/ I was waiting for my friend - laid on snow with my cap over my eyes and hands behind my head. Then some older students - guys - come over and say "Hey, dude, get up!". :/

Most people automatically assume I'm male online. It can't be my choice of screen names because I have several of those and they don't all sound male. So...?

That could be because there are more girls here than guys. It's more likely someone would be a girl on the bwint forum, or at least that was true a while back. Now I guess there are more guys.

Heehee. I get the "dude" and "man" on deviantART a lot, even though it clearly states on my profile that I am a female. I guess no one ever looks at that. On their defense, though, I don't have a girly handle and my avatar is Primal. And I draw a lot of TransFormers. Still, no one should assume genders!

I am a woman

I think it is because you have your Optimus avatar that you get adressed as a man :D

I am female too. But I have Cheetor as my avatar, because I love cats.
Maybe one day I will draw a personal avatar of myself. I never made a drawing of a robot before. I only draw animals or human like beings.
Making a robot is a new challenge

Wow I had no idea how many girls were into this. Definitely wasn't expecting to see more girls than guys. I feel outnumbered :o So which one of you ladies needs a man  haha jk
