This Weeks Fictastic Update!

Unread post by Razor One »

This update came a little earlier then expected but some damn solid FF.

Since it's the first update in a good long while, feel free to throw in some commentary here.

Opening Channels

This actually made me chuckle quite a bit, which is great because few comedic fics actually manage that. Enjoyed the wit and dialogue, loved Screamers reaction to hearing he had fangirls

Trading Spaces

Absolutely adored the ending. I shant give it away however, all I can say is Way to Go DC!

Ghost In The Machine

Thoroughly enjoyable. I liked the twist towards the end and the action was well written.

The Brotherhood

Reads a lot like a BW episode, enjoyed it quite a bit. Well written and introduces the Vok influence on a modern earth quite nicely.

Eternal Shore

I must be brutally honest here. It's the worst attempt at romance I have ever seen. In fact, it's so terrible that it's turned me off any attempt at reading romance for life. Dont read this whatever you do! Now excuse me while I grab my shotgun and shoot the poor sod who wrote this crime against humanity **blows head off**

No Offense Intended

For a first attempt, I must say that this is a well executed comedy that pokes fun against many of the cliches and themes we find riddled throughout FF. I chuckled more then once, the ending was especially humorous for me.

Silent Noise

Excellent to say the least. What happens to good old RT is absolutely priceless.

The True Difference

Needs no introduction nor preamble. Excellently written and executed.

Now to get back to work and see if I cant spit out a few shorts for next week...

Also, apologies to Sapphire for stealing her word :P

Kamikaze, you do realize that Razor One was picking on his own fic? :P ;)

And it's really nice for me to see people get excited about the fanfics! I don't really get any feedback or indication that people are reading the fan fic updates, so it pleases me greatly to see someone actually make a post about it with mini reviews. It WAS a good fanfic update, and I'm glad at least Razor One enjoyed it! :)

Sorry. I follow these updates very closely but since there's no review button, I limit my comments to fanfic.net and DevArt. BTW, the beta reader requirement and list are really nice. I've learned from previous experience that only betas can cure my fics of my typomania and they tend to offer really good advice.
There's more to that than meets the eye.

Wel, it is a great idea to review it here at the forum. But I know what it's like to forget to comment after reading it when something comes up.

I love the Beast Wars Symmeties series. In fact, I can't wait for the next episode/chapter. ^______^ I also can't get enough of Rainynight's Could Have and Silver Dawn's series. I'm still trying to figure out who Silver Dawn is.

I also love the fics that use script format. It's as if it were an actual script. Not to mention you can actually see them doing something right before, after or while they're talking. :-D

YAAAAAAY Updates are in 5 more days and I won't have to go to work this time!!!
