Summary: It all begins with Tigatron noticing a strange alien anomaly in the area he is in… problem is, so does Megatron, only on his computer. The Tyrant sends Inferno to the area where he uncovers and obtains a golden disk and brings it to Megatron.

 

            Later, Megatron requests a truce to Optimus, stating only that his attention has to be taken away from the Beast Wars, which makes Primal, and the other Maximals suspicious of the timing for this so-called truce. Optimus sends Rattrap to infiltrate the Predacon base with Air Razor, who would be Megatron’s distraction. When that plan failed, he had already had plan B in motion: Tigatron.

 

Review: This as you all know was the beginning of the end of season one, the longest season in the series. It set motion another appearance of the aliens and how the Beast Wars has affected their ‘experiment’. It was also about time we actually saw what exactly Tarantulas meant when he said ‘This planet is Doomed!’ in the episode Spider’s Game.

 

It was incredibly hilarious to see how the Maximals defeated the Predacons without using weapons since it would violate the truce. Some of the results reminded me of Wile E. Coyote from those roadrunner cartoons:

 

1, Inferno falls from mid air after his jet pack malfunctioned about half a minute before = Wile E. Coyote… in almost every episode except without the jet pack.

 

2, Terrorsaur accidentally gets smashed through metal = Wile E Coyote… slams himself into a metal wall which he had thought malfunctioned and gave up.

 

3, Blackarachnia and Tarantulas get flattened by a boulder  = Wile E. Coyote has been hit with a boulder, a giant ball of snow, and anvil, a bowling ball, etc.

 

When I was a kid and finally watched the episode (I was grounded when it first aired), I laughed my butt of when Terrorsaur ran into Rhinox’s butt. However, even though I still think it’s funny, now I find that part a bit… vulgar.

 

I still feel sorry for Waspinator getting blown up near the beginning of the episode… but hey, someone was gonna blow him up in the episode… but still…

 

 

I give this episode a 4.5 out of 5!
