A Matter of Time and Space

Cybertron.......

Rabbiterra awoke from her sleeping area in her room in the usual fashion.

"Rabby, Rabby, Rabby! Time to get up!" Her younger brother, Yortex said shaking her arm.

"Uh-what? What time is it?" She said yawning.

"Five in the morning." He answered.

She groaned and pushed the young bot away. She began to drift back to sleep when....

"RABBITERRAAAAAAAAAA are you up?" Her mother called from downstairs.

"Yes Mom!" She called getting up. She put on whatever they would consider clothing and slid down the banister to the kitchen where her mother, father and Yortex were. She sat on a chair in front of a table and opened a box of CyberOs and poured it into a bowl.

She was munching away on her cereal when her mother said, "Rabbiterra, we need to talk."

"Uh oh, what did I do now?" She groaned.

"It's not what you've done,"her father said, "It's what we want you to do." He slid a brochure across the table.

She picked it up and read it aloud, "Enlist your child now in Cybertron Military Academy, where some of the finest soldiers are trained."

"Well, what do you think?" Her mother said smiling.

"I think your both mad!" She said, Yortex decided their would be a fight so he left the room.

"Rabbiterra why not, it's a good learning experience."Her father said.

"Learning how to shoot people is a good learning experience! No, I'm not going!" She said crossing her arms over her chest.

"That's just not good enough because we've already signed you up, you leave tomorrow!"Her father said angrily.

"What about school?" Rabbiterra asked.

"We've discussed it with the board and they've decided to let you go." Her mother replied.

"I don't believe this." Rabbiterra said crossly.

Her father came up closer to her, "This is your last day home, treasure it!"

Rabbiterra was upstairs packing her belongings, she packed at least half a dozen issues of Teen-bot Magazine, her headphones and several music CD's from earth. The music was good but it was really old. She also packed a portrait of her and family.

Once this was done she jumped on her hoverboard and glided her way outside and over to her friend TriSara's. She knocked on the door. Her older brother, Annexe answered.

"Hey Nex,"Rabbiterra said, "is Tri home."

"Yeah she's up in her room, c'mon in." He said letting her in. She took her hoverboard and went upstairs.

She reached her friends room, where the music was blasting. She opened the door. "Hey Tri, ya busy?" She shouted so she would hear her.

TriSara turned down the music, "Hey Terra, no I'm not busy. What's up?" Rabbiterra sat down on the bed next to her friend.

"My parents are sending me away to Military School."She said sadly.

"Which one?" TriSara asked.

"Cybertron Military Academy." Rabbiterra answered.

"No way!" TriSara said, completely blown away. "Whoa! I've heard about bots who go into that Academy and don't come out again."

"Thanks a lot Tri you make me feel so hopeful!" Rabbiterra said sarcastically.

"Sorry, it's just, well, this is pretty intense. How do feel about it? When do you leave?" TriSara asked.

"I'm scared out of my mind and I leave tomorrow," Rabbiterra said, there were tears in her eyes, "Tri, I don't wanna go!"

"Shhhh." Her friend said hugging her, "It's okay, you're my best friend. You'll be alright." It was then TriSara got an idea, "Why don't you stay over for tonight?"

"Really?" Rabbiterra said wiping away her tears.

"Yeah, it'll be just like our last sleep over at your house, we'll order out, watch movies, stay up. I've got to tell you the latest news about Tranlixa and Argon. It is so juicy." TriSara said excitedly.

"Thanks Tri, you sure are a pal!" She said.

"Okay, now hurry up and get your stuff. I hate long waits."She said smiling.

"Sure, back in a flash!" Rabbiterra said jumping on her hoverboard and leaving through an open window.

Rabbiterra gathered her things back home and was coming down the stairs. She reached the bottom when she saw her father staring out the window.

"Well I'm leaving now,"She said in a small voice, "I'm leaving for the Academy right after breakfast at TriSara's." Looking at him reminded her of why her father had chosen her given name. He said it was out of hearing old Autobot tales of Petro Rabbits. Rabbiterra was made into a feminine form. Her remark to the tale was, "Petro Rabbit? I don't run on gas!"

Her father turned around startled to see her. "Rabbiterra I sorry about this morning and I have something for you." He took out a sword in a case out of a cabinet and handed it to her. "It was your grandfather's. He gave to me and now it's yours. Use it with pride."

Rabbiterra smiled and wrapped her arms around her father. Hugging him tightly, "I'll miss you."She whispered.

"I'll miss you, too." He replied.

Her mother came in and hugged her saying goodbye and so did Yortex, "Be a good boy, Yortex."Rabbiterra said.

That evening Rabbiterra left her home for TriSara's carrying all the belongings she would need. They watched her go as she left on her hoverboard. It was the last time Rabbiterra would ever see her family again.

Just as TriSara promised, she and Rabbiterra had the time of their lives. Eating, watching movies, and telling secrets. It was the best sleep over the two had together. It was also their last.

They had stayed up pretty late. So when the time came for Rabbiterra to get up she was sound asleep. Luckily TriSara had set the alarm clock.

RRRRRIIIINNNNGGGG!

Rabbiterra woke up to see TriSara standing over her, "Alright rise and shine, Sleepin' Beauty! C'mon up, up, up."She said knocking on her head and hauling the covers off her, "Got breakfast for ya! Look ya get porridge and it's happy to see you!" She showed her a bowl of porridge with a happy face in it.

"Am I late?" Rabbiterra asked. TriSara shoved a spoonful of porridge in her mouth.

"No time to talk. Now it's your first day of training so listen to your teacher, and no fighting. Play nice with the other kids, except if one of the other kids doesn't want to fight then you're gonna hafta kick the other kid's butt." TriSara said stuffing porridge in Rabbiterra's mouth.

"But I don't want to kick the other kid's butt."Rabbiterra said in a muffled voice.

"Don't talk with your mouth full!"TriSara scolded, "Now let's see your war face."

Rabbiterra looked at her with puffed cheeks and a confused expression, "I think my bunny slippers just ran for cover," TriSara said sarcastically, "C'mon scare me, girl."

Rabbiterra swallowed her porridge and growled, "GGGGGRRRRR!"

"Yeah that's my tough looking warrior. That's what I'm talkin' about. Now get out there and make me proud!" TriSara told her friend.

"Alright I think ready!" Rabbiterra said holding her luggage and her sword on a belt round her waist.

"Wait let's see what you packed," TriSara said taking hold of her bags, "I don't think you're ready yet."

She opened up the suitcase and looked inside, "Well what have we here? Magazines, CDs, picture, yes. Ooo you are missing a lot of things."

"Like what?" Rabbiterra asked curiously.

"Well this for starters." She said holding up a ball of string.

"String!" Rabbiterra said, "Why would I need that?"

"Don't you know that a world without string is chaos?" TriSara answered, "Besides I have a feeling the people up in that Academy are not gonna treat a freshbot like you very friendly. So best be prepared for some payback, TriSara style."

Rabbiterra grinned at her friend and in total Rabbiterra packed away including the string, toothpaste, balloons, chocolate sauce, shaving cream, honey and a feather.

"Now your ready to go!" TriSara said. She gave her friend a hug. They were at her front door, TriSara and Annexe came to see here off. "I gonna miss you! Now go on before I start crying."

"Goodbye TriSara, I'll miss you! See ya Annexe, take care of her okay?" Rabbiterra smiled and gave him five. She jumped on her board and left.

"Our little baby off to destroy people." TriSara said as they watched her go.

Rabbiterra stood outside of a large building. Other bots like herself were going in. Saying she was nervous would probably be an understatement. When really she was somewhere between bed-wetting and a near death experience.

"Can't let it stop me now." She said giving herself some confidence. She took a huge breath and walked inside carrying her hoverboard with her.

Inside was a giant hall where it looked like millions of people where practicing, fighting, but most were registering in booths along the wall by order of alphabet.

"Okay that's where I ought to go." She said walking toward a booth when someone pulled her hoverboard out from under her arm. "Hey!" She said turning around. What she thought was a security guard had her board, "That's mine!"

"No hoverboards allowed," he said, "Now get lost!"

"I'm enlisted in this Academy, buster! So don't tell me to get lost or I'll tell you where to go!" She said.

The guard laughed, "In that case, If you're enlisted in this Academy, you won't be needing this anymore." He said. Rabbiterra watched in awe as he crushed the board in his hands, rolled it like a piece of paper and threw it in a wastebasket.

Rabbiterra's temper merged, "Alright! That's it! Let's go!" She dropped her bags and started swinging her fists at him. He laughed and picked her up by the back of the neck.

"You're cute! What's your name?" He asked.

"Rabbiterra," She said angrily, "and you're going to take a nap." She punched him right in the face knocking him out and causing them both to fall. Rabbiterra landed on her feet, the dude fell flat on his back.

"Stupid girl, what have you done?" Another guy said rushing over to them.

"This jerk crushed my hoverboard and I was just returning the favor." She said.

"This "jerk" is Lieutenant Arthus, head of the Academy Sub-division."The other guy replied.

"Egad!" Rabbiterra gasped, covering her mouth. She had just punched out her Commanding Officer! "I-I-I didn't mean it, honest! I thought he was some security guard."

"You'll pay for this outrage, child!" He said pulling out an energon blade.

Rabbiterra gasped again. She thought she was done for, when the Lieutenant got up and saw what was happening. "Sargent Trin, what are you doing?"he asked.

The Sargent dropped the blade and saluted, "Dispensing of a nuisance."

"Sargent Trin, I'm surprised at you. We're supposed to set an example of compassion for our new recruits. I'm sure the young soldier didn't mean to do what she did." Arthus said.

"Oh no, I didn't, sir. Really, I just got a little mad when you crushed my board." Rabbiterra said.

"I'm sorry about that. It's just regulations," Arthus said, "Now, Sargent!"

"Yes sir?" Trin answered.

"To make up for this terrible inconvenience, Miss Rabbiterra, Sargent Trin here will escort you to your barrack and will register for you. Won't you, Sargent?"

"Yes sir." Trin answered in a bored voice. He motioned Rabbiterra to follow him down a hall. Rabbiterra picked up her luggage and followed him.

Maybe this day isn't going to be so bad after all! She thought._

"This is your barrack, Rabbiterra is it?" Trin said pointing into a room full of sleeping areas.

"Yes, my name is Rabbiterra." Rabbiterra said. They walked down the barrack. Beds were on each side. "Which one's mine?"

"This one." He said pointing to the last bed in the room. It was placed in the corner away from the other beds. Across from it was an open window.

Rabbiterra frowned and thought he did it intentionally to get back at her for embarrassing him. She didn't know how right she was.

He gave her a disk, "This is your time table," he explained, "It gives all locations and times of your classes."

"Oh, thanks." She said.

"And one more thing," He said getting close to her, "I'd watch what you do from now on, the Lieutenant won't always be there to protect you." He left.

Rabbiterra let out a long breath, "Whoa, touchy!" She shrugged her shoulders and washed her hands of it. She had others things to worry about.

Like the girls who were standing behind her.

She didn't know how in the Galaxy they managed to get there. No one was there when she and Sargent Grouchy were there. There was about ten of them and they didn't look very friendly either.

The biggest girl step forward. Rabbiterra gulped. She was twice her size, "Well, well, well. Looks like we have a freshbot here."She said grinning.

Rabbiterra smiled, "Yep, I'm the new roomie. Name's Rabbiterra." She said sticking out her hand. The girl shook her hand and practically crushed it.

"My name is Deleteta." The girl grinned letting her go, "One name you will soon fear."

"Wait a cycle, what'd you say your name was?"Rabbiterra asked.

"Deleteta." She answered, a bit puzzled by the question.

Rabbiterra started to laugh.

"What's so funny?" Deleteta asked.

"Your name!" Rabbiterra said going into fits of laughter. "What'd you do, swallow an eraser or something?"

The girls behind Deleteta started to snicker. She turned and looked at them. They were silent.

Deleteta picked up Rabbiterra by the back of the neck, "You people have a thing for necks," Rabbiterra gasped.

"Girls, why don't we show Rabbiterra how we welcome new comers."Deleteta said. The other girls grabbed Rabbiterra's arms and legs and carried her to the open window.

"Hey guys what are you doing? Listen it was only a joke, okay! I didn't mean it." Rabbiterra said. They threw her out the window. Now that wouldn't have been so bad, the only thing was that their barracks happened to be on the fifth story.

"Salvage ya later!" Deleteta called as Rabbiterra fell. They left.

Rabbiterra fell but didn't scream, "What's the sense? It's not going to do anything about it."

She landed in a dumpster. She got up, brushed the garbage off herself, and went back to her barrack.

Rabbiterra was sitting on her bed, feeling sorry for herself, when she remembered her time table. She took out the disk and found a laptop under her bed. She put in the disk.

"Welcome to Cybertron Military Academy." The computer said.

"Oh yeah I've had a wonderful welcome."Rabbiterra said sarcastically.

"Time Table online." The computer said showing the time table. Rabbiterra looked over it and realized she had roll-call in the main auditorium. She rushed out of the room.

Down at roll-call mostly everyone was lining up as the Lieutenant Arthus and Sargent Trin were walking in.

Rabbiterra was just coming down the stairs to get to the Auditorium door at the bottom. Meanwhile Deleteta and her gang were standing by the door.

"Now you know what to do girls,"Deleteta said, "Origami, you may do the honors."

The girl Origami, stuck her foot out in the doorway. Where Rabbiterra was coming.

Rabbiterra was running her way to the doorway so as not to be late. She did not see Origami's foot in the doorway. The results were disastrous.

Rabbiterra tripped in the foot. She fell, more or less, flew into the last person in line. This person flew over and knocked over the person in front of them and so on. Rabbiterra had just created a domino rally. It ran all the way to Arthus and Trin.

The Deleteta girls pretended to fall over so as not to look suspicions.

Rabbiterra got up and smacked her hand on her forehead at what she had done. She looked behind her. Deleteta grinned at her. Rabbiterra sneered.

She looked at Trin. Although he was more than a hundred feet away she could tell what he was saying as he looked at her. Strike one.

This is where I come in.

"So this is Cybertron," A non-cybertronian said stepping off the platform of a landed ship at Cybertron Docking Station, "Hmm, not what I expected, but it'll have to do."

She walked off towards main street. She didn't get very far.

Two security guards stopped her, "Passport," One asked.

She handed them her passport. They looked at it, "Where's your Cybertron passport?"

"Umm." She hummed. She didn't have one. Thinking quickly, "Look! It's, it's," she said snapping her fingers, "The Maximals Elders!"

The Security Guards, gullibly, turned their heads. This giving her the opportunity to grab her passport, her backpack and scram!

"Hey!" The guards called, but she had already run out to a street, grabbed the end of a passing hover bus and left riding on it like a tram car.

"Rice-a-roni the San Francisco treat!"She sang waving as she left.

Later on she hopped off the bus to a side walk and started walking down the street seeing the sights of Cybertron.

"If there was anyplace to find a character, this has to be it." She said.

As she walked past Cybertronians stared at her. She simply smiled and walked on.

"I guess they don't get too many humans here."She said. "I suppose the best place to lookfor a new character would be a military base. Now where do I get directions."

Since it didn't seem like there was a Tourist Center around, the visiting human walked into the nearest building. Just to ask for directions. She walked into a rec center full of very unruly Predacons.

If looks could kill, she would have been dead the moment she walked in. She walked up to the counter and sat on a stool, she was kind of thirsty, "Can I have a coke, please?" She asked.

"Coke?" The bartender said, "What planet are you from?"

"Earth." She replied.

"We don't have any of the that stuff,"He said, "But this is what's close to it."

He placed a glass of something in front of her. She picked it up and took a sip. No sooner had she put it in her mouth than she spit it out again.

"Aww man! Disgusting! What is it?"She asked wiping the residue off her face.

"Oil." He said. Taking the glass away.

"Don't you have anything sanitary?" She asked. He took out a glass of water.

"Thank you." She said, "How much do I owe you?"

"Nothing. Water's free."He said.

"Cool!" She said, turning her attention to the others in the center. She was a terrible outcast but no one seemed to notice her now.

She heard low talking everywhere, but one conversion caught her attention.

Two male Predacons sat near a corner not to far away from the bar and were talking very secretly. She could tell, they were looking around every now and again to make sure no one was watching.

The human pulled something out of her backpack, something she had found on the ship on her way here. It was a tiny microphone on a flying device. It looked something like a fly. She thought she heard someone call it a cyberbee. Funny, it didn't look like a bee.

Instead of letting it fly she put it on the ground and let it crawl under their table unknowingly. She then put a tiny speaker in her ear and listen to the conversation:

"I have another assignment for you." One said.

"Ooo what is it this time? Infiltrating a Maximal center or tracking renegades?" The other said.

"Something different this time, a rebel has been detected," He said, while the other sipped his drink, really she couldn't see how he could, he didn't really have much of a mouth to drink with, "Sources tell us he's planning to steal the golden disk."

At this the other spit out his drink, "What! Impossible."He said.

"Will you shut up! You want everyone to here us!" They settled down, "It's true."

"What does all this have to do with me? What you want me to reveal him or something?"

At this time the human girl noticed something familiar about one of them. "That voice. I know it sounds familiar, but I can't put my finger on it." She listened on.

"No, we want a conspiracy job. Gather as much information from this wacko as you can."

"And how am I supposed to do that?"

"He's hiring about four other idiots along with you, if all goes well."

"I do hope you don't mean that idiot part about me." He chuckled.

"Now I know who it is!" She said, "I know that chuckle anywhere! It's Tarantulas!"

It was a long time before the floor of the auditorium was scrubbed with a toothbrush. It wasn't even electric. It was punishment.

When Rabbiterra was done it was time for lunch. By the mood she was feeling, she felt she could eat anything. Except for what they were serving.

Rabbiterra's, so called, food looked like roadkill. The smell confirmed it. Worst of all they only available place to sit was right next to the Deleteta girls.

She looked in the direction of the ceiling, "Why me? WHY ME?"She whined.

She sat down and tried to act natural as she stuffed, whatever it was, into her mouth.

However, the girls knew it was her, "Well look who it is. The troublemaker." Deleteta said.

"It wasn't my fault," Rabbiterra said, "You tripped me."

"Us! You're accusing us of that. How mean!" Deleteta said pretending to be shocked, "Girls, since Rabbiterra is new here, why don't we give her first helping."

They grinned at her, took their spoons, and flung whatever it was in her face. They laughed. Rabbiterra whipped the stuff of her face, "That's very kind of you, allow me to return the favor." She spooned the food into Deleteta's face.

She wiped the food of her face and threw it back. This distracted the people nearby who threw it back. This attracted more people and before Rabbiterra knew it a food fight had broke out.

"How do I get myself into these messes?" She said to herself. She hid under a table as the food flew.

Coming down the hallway, heading for the now food fighting cafeteria, were Arthus, Trin, and the other commanding officers.

"I trust, Sargent, that you will correct this error made today. The General will not be pleased, if he finds out your troops are so clumsy." Arthus said.

"Of course sir, I assure you this mornings actions will never happen again." Trin said.

At that moment they entered the cafeteria.

None could describe the look on Sargent Trin's face as he saw everyone fighting and throwing food. He looked at the Lieutenant. The Lieutenant smiled sympathetically at him.

"SOLDIERS!" Trin shouted.

Deleteta punched someone in the face and then stopped. Everyone backed away and pointed at Rabbiterra, "SHE STARTED IT!" They shouted.

Rabbiterra, was crouched down. She saw Trin headed toward her and stood up. He looked her straight in the eye. Strike two.

"So when is this happening?" The revealed Tarantulas said.

"Should be by tomorrow, you don't have much time. Information is vital."

"Well this is all just lovely for you but what's in it for me?"Tarantulas asked.

"You succeed in this mission, we make you Lieutenant."

"Lieutenant, huh?" Tarantulas said, "I could get used to that."

"If I was a better person, I'd ignore all misfortunes the Deleteta girls gave me today, but I'm not!"Rabbiterra said to herself that evening after her classes were over.

She took out everything that TriSara had gave her before she left. That night while the Deleteta slept like babies, Rabbiterra did her stuff setting traps everywhere.

That morning.........

"AAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!" Screamed the Deleteta girls as each one woke up to find a special surprise Rabbiterra left for them.

One girl woke up to find out she had toothpaste all over her face. Another had chocolate sauce all over pillow and had smudged all over her face. For one girl Rabbiterra had played the feather and shaving cream trick, she was now covered in shaving cream. Plus she covered the entire floor with the honey.

She saved the best for last on Deleteta. Triggered with string, Rabbiterra made it so that when Deleteta got up an entire quantity of water balloons came over her head. Very nice way to get up don't you think?

Deleteta was furious, and Rabbiterra didn't know what kind of temper this girl had.

Without saying anything, Deleteta ran over to her. She grabbed her and hauled her out of bed. Rabbiterra had pretended to be sleeping, "Hey what are you doing?"Rabbiterra asked.

"I've had enough of you!" She pushed Rabbiterra on a table, two other girls grabbed her arms and faced her stomach on the table. Rabbiterra tried to get loose but they held on. Deleteta grabbed her sword and prepared to drive her it in her back.

"NO! That's my father's sword!" Rabbiterra managed to look back to what Deleteta was doing.

Deleteta stopped just before the sword touched Rabbiterra's skin. Deleteta had her girls pick Rabbiterra off the table and had her face Deleteta.

Deleteta look at the sword, "It's magnificent."

"It's my father's, give it back."Rabbiterra said.

"You did this!" Deleteta pointed to the traps.

"Yes, and you just tried to kill me!" Rabbiterra retorted.

"I'll tell you what, Rabbiterra. You don't say a word about this and I'll give back you your father's sword."Deleteta suggested.

Rabbiterra got up close to her face, "Give me back my father's sword, or I'll cut out your spark!"

"Bold words, I look forward to ramming them down you throat!" Deleteta smacked her in the face.

Rabbiterra turned her head to hide the look of pain. The Deleteta girls pushed her back on the table but instead of the sword, Deleteta cracked a metal rod off one of the beds and started to beat Rabbiterra's back.

Rabbiterra couldn't keep from screaming. The noise was so loud it was reported to Sargent Trin who came up from his quarters to see what was going on.

Sargent Trin came in and saw the mess left from the traps. The girls stopped hitting her when he came in. Rabbiterra looked up at him from the table, tears streaming down her face, "Sargent Trin," her voice barely above a whisper, "Help."

Trin looked menacingly at the mess, he knew she had done it. Arthus wasn't going to be pleased if he found out. And of all she had done yesterday, he couldn't allow her to get away with it. Not this time. He looked deep into her eyes. Strike three.

"Carry on." He said coldly just before he left.

"NO!" Rabbiterra screamed as they continued to beat her.

Downstairs, Lieu. Arthus had been woken because of the disturbance. He met up with Trin.

"What's going on, Sargent?" He asked.

"Nothing sir," Trin lied, "One of the maintenance bots short-circuited, it should be taken care of soon."

"Alright then, carry on." Arthus commanded.

The human girl came down to the main lobby from the hotel she had been staying in that night. Fortunately they were able to transfer her Earth-money to the Cybertronian form of money. She had stayed so long at the rec center there was no time to ask for directions, only where the nearest hotel was.

She picked up a newspaper, news around Cybertron now was all about the theft of the Golden disk and a rescue ship was being sent that evening to retrieve it.

As she read the newspaper she thought of a song by Fastball: "They made up their minds, and they started packing. They left before the sun came up that day, an exit to eternal summer slacking. But where were they going without ever knowing the way?"

She approached the bot behind the desk and asked, "Where's the nearest military base?"

"Cybertron Military Academy. Down the street, make a right turn, last one on the block, you can't miss it." He answered.

"Thanks." She said leaving.

Rabbiterra moaned. They had not stopped until it was time to go to breakfast and even then they swore her to secrecy.

So as the other girls went off to their breakfast, Rabbiterra fell off the table and managed to crawl her way to her bed, which wasn't so far away. Deep cuts and bruises covered her back, the end of the rod had a pointed edge. She hadn't the strength to go to breakfast.

She sat on her bed and sobbed her fate. She knew if she stayed any longer, she'd be dead. "Then get it over with. It's not worth it anymore!" She cried.

Then she noticed the sword on the floor. Her sword now. It was so near the bed she could easily reach down and get it. Just one small move she thought and it'd be over. All her problems would be over.

She picked up the sword and just as she was about to drive it into her insides, she noticed an engravement on the blade. It read: Nothing is difficult to the brave and the faithful.

She dropped the sword. "I can't do this. What would father think?"

When she had the strength she reached under bed where the armor was kept for later times. It was completely black and fitted her nicely. So much so they probably wouldn't know the difference.

However when she tried to walk though, her back ached so much she walked with a limp. "Maybe they won't notice."

They noticed all right! It was night time now. She was just settling in for the night, all day long she wasn't able to hide the limp. All her Professors and leaders asked what was the matter and no matter how hard she tried, she couldn't tell them. Deleteta would be standing nearby looking at her.

Rabbiterra sat down and cried again. It was hopeless, there was no chance of redemption.

And then......

A small head popped out of the top of the open window and looked in upside-down at Rabbiterra. She saw her crying and smiled. She turned right side up and stepped inside the room. She walked towards Rabbiterra.

Rabbiterra looked up and saw the human girl heading toward her, she gasped and was just about to scream. The girl clamped her hand over her mouth.

"Shhhhhh! I won't hurt you!" She whispered, "Don't scream!"

She took her hand of her mouth, "Who are you? How did you get here? What do you want?" Rabbiterra slurred all together.

"Okay, okay! Name's Starreling, Ruth Starreling!" I said, introducing myself. "The security wouldn't let me in, so I snuck in. As for I what I want well, I'm on a mission."

"Mission? What kind of mission?"

"Sort of personal."

"Oh, what are you here doing talking to me for?"

"I don't think I caught your name yet."

"Oh, I'm Rabbiterra, and I'd love to be on some kind of mission, anywhere else but here."

"What's so bad about this place?" I said looking around.

"Just look at my back." She asked taking off the armor.

I gasped, the scars were really gross, "What happened to you?"

"They did it!" She pointed to the sleeping girls, "They all hate me!"

"Why didn't you just go to a CR chamber?"

"Are you crazy?! I would have to tell them why and those girls would kill me if anybody found out." She sobbed.

"You're not lying are you?"I asked.

"Does it look like I'm lying!"

"Why don't you just go home?"

"They'd just send me back. I'm doomed!" she sniffed, "Oh, but why am I telling you for? It's not like you can do anything about it."

I smiled, "See, now that's where your wrong!"

"What are you talking about?" She asked. I sat down next to her.

"Have you heard about the peoples stealing the Golden Disk?" I asked her.

"Who hasn't?" She answered.

"And do you know that a ship is being sent after them?" I asked.

"Yeah. What about it?" She inquired.

"Well I thought we might be able to sneak you on."

"What? Are you crazy?"

"Pretty much. I came this far didn't I?"

"Why would I go do something like that?"

"You wanna get away from here don't you?"

Rabbiterra looked downward, "I wanna go but how do I know I can trust you?"

I let out a large groan, "You don't trust me?" Afterwards I regretted this question, after all I had only known her for about five minutes.

"Well, no. You just pop out of a window in the middle of the night and come chatting in a classified military base which is very restricted! What are you, some sort of spy, or mercenary or something?"

"Actually I'm a writer."

"Huh?"

"You heard me. I originally come from earth, I came to Cybertron to seek a new invented character for a series I'm writing."

"Why can't you just make up one like other writers?"

"I have a very poor imagination."

"Where do I come in on all of this?"

"You are the character I have chosen! That's why I need you on that ship."

"Why me?"

"Why not?" I said. Rabbiterra paused for a moment.

"You still didn't answer my question."

"What?"

"Can I trust you?

I smiled at her, took off something around my neck and put it around her's.

"What is it?"

"It's my favorite necklace. Keep it as a sign of trust."

She blushed, "I can't accept it."

"Don't be so foolish! Now come on the ship is leaving soon, we haven't much time."

Rabbiterra and I left the academy through the window, she took her sword with her.

The Maximal Aircraft area was a bussle of bots carrying, loading, and polishing up the final touches to the Axalon.

The two of us managed to slip by security and where hiding behind some of the crates where they kept the spare guns and ammo. We watched as a long line of bots were stepping one by one into stasis pods.

"Perfect!" I whispered, "This is going to be easy!"

"What! How am I supposed to get on that ship? More than likely their gonna notice I'm not a trained professional!"She whispered back.

"No problem, only four of the command crew are going in the center of that ship. The rest of the crew are being put in those stasis pods. We knock out the last guy in line and you get in the stasis pod."I instructed.

"We can't do that! We'll get in trouble!" Rabbiterra hissed.

"We'll get in trouble no matter what now. You wanna go back to CMA?" I said.

Rabbiterra shook her head and started to move toward the line-up. I hauled her back, "No wait, look." I pulled on the top of a crate to reveal rows of guns. "Here take one. You're gonna need it."

"I can't take it. That's stealing!" Rabbiterra retorted.

I grew very aggravated, put my head in my hands and shook it. "You're gonna be part of the crew now! What's theirs is yours! Now let's go!" I said taking her by the hand and leading her to the line-up.

I crept up on the last guy in line, and while using the gun we nicked from the crate, knocked him in the back of the head with the butt of the gun. He went unconscious and fell to the ground. I dragged him out of sight, "Sorry pal, you're better off here anyway." Rabbiterra took his place.

The line was now getting smaller. Her pod was coming up soon."Well then you're all set." I smiled.

All of sudden she threw her arms around me in a hug, "Thanks Ruth!"

"Hey," I said, "You're not out of the woods yet. There's one more thing I have to tell you. See the necklace I gave you, inside is a speaker. Wherever you are you can touch the necklace and signal me. Think of it as a comlink, a transwarp one. I like to call it a TC."

"Cool!" Rabbiterra said. Her stasis pod came, she hopped inside and the door was lazered in. She waved goodbye from the window.

I waved back, "Bon voyage! Farewell to thee! See ya!" I sighed as she was gelled into a protoform and loaded on the ship.

Just as I was about to leave I turned around and was confronted by two officers. Thing was they were human.

"Ruth Starreling, we presume." One asked.

"Yes." I answered uneasily.

"We're the FEDS. The Fanfiction Editorial Department Service. You have been charged with interference. License and registration please."

"This is some kind of joke, right?" I laughed, "You've got to be kidding. I don't even have a license and registration."

"Then we're going to have to take you in."

"Look this has all been very amusing but I have to go home. I have stories to work on. So if you'll excuse me." I turned to leave when I felt a gush of pain and everything went dark.

This was not as long as I intended to stay, but stay I did. I awoke to find myself in a dark looking office. It reminded me of my old principal's office back in elementary school. Still dark, gothic and cold-looking as ever. Of course this was slightly different in a sense. For now I was staring at a large rough looking man behind a large desk. Two of his officers stood behind him, the same two I had the pleasure of meeting before.

"Ruth Starreling, I'm Captain Clarke of the FEDS. I'm sorry we had to put you through this but it's regulations." The man said.

"It's regulations to kidnap me and hold me here against my will? When I didn't even do anything!"

"Well not exactly, there are a few things you did do that were um, displeasing."

"Like what?" I shouted.

"Intervening in your own story, entering Cybertron without a passport, exchanging conversation with Cybertronians, interrupting time, breaking in to a Military base, being disobordinate to FEDS officers, and being rude to a captain."

"I am not being rude. I'm being demanding. Let me go!"

"From now on Starreling you must never interfere with a story again."

"And why, pray tell, is that?"

"Simply this, authors are neither to be seen nor heard of in their stories. For once, just try to be like everybody else."

"I don't want to be like everybody else. This is my story and I can do what I bloody well please with it. If you don't like it, too bad for you. So you can just take all that bull you just told me and shove it up where the sun don't shine, for all I care cause I'm leavin'!" I protested. I got up and proceeded to stomp my way out of the door behind me.

"Starreling!" He shouted. I looked back at him. "If you leave, my report will read an AAA, Against Authoral Advice."

I relaxed, "Fine then sir, by my report will read an IDGARA, I don't give a rat's ass!"

I slammed the door on my way out. I looked down the hallway to see where in heavens name I had been taken to. To my right, at the end of the hallway, to my relief, was a teleporter. My work here was done, now it was time to go home. I walked up to the teleporter, reached in my pocket and pulled out a coin. I stuck it in the slot of the machine and turned it on.

"Teleporter online," It said, "Destination?"

"Earth." I replied.

"Requested time."

"Hmm, 1999 should do." I said. The computer opened the door to the platform. I stepped inside and was teleported home. That is the entire story to how Rabbiterra came to be. In the Beast Wars? Well, that's another story!

The end.
