What You Missed in Angel's Saga

Important people and information for those who haven't read Angel's Saga and wish to read The Chronicles of the Doomcat.

Warning: Contains major-super-mega spoilers.

Destroyer- a Maximal protoform programmed to answer to the Vok. Given the same abilities as Tigerhawk. Beast mode part panther, part bird. Destroyer's stasis pod crashed harder than intended, and Destroyer was lost.

Angel- the program that took over once Destroyer did not activate. A completely separate entity from Destroyer. Angel's personality is that of a child; she is impulsive, slightly rebellious, and does not like to be left out. She also does not like transforming.

Spirit- Angel intended to use this small, white cat to prove that she was responsible. Spirit only got Angel into trouble and was returned to the wild.

Angel's First Solo Mission- an infiltration mission into the Darkside, to blow up Scorpinok's lab. The mission was successful, however Angel was caught in the blast. She was assigned the mission, unbeknownst to her, so Optimus Primal and company could test their hypothesis that she was sent by the Vok.

Angel meets Destroyer- Angel found out the supposed truth about herself and went to investigate, without the help of the Maximals. Instead, she teamed up with Tarantulas and Blackarachnia, and they confirmed Angel's true purpose. Megatron found out as well, and had the Destroyer program loaded into Angel. The two fought for control, and ultimately Angel won, because Blackarachnia weakened the Destroyer program. However, Destroyer was not defeated before Megatron used it to attack the Maximal base.

Spirit returns- Angel, having just defeated Destroyer, runs away before either Optimus Primal or Megatron get to her. She is found by Spirit, who becomes Angel's friend. Optimus Primal lets Spirit stay.

Angel's Spark- enhanced by the Vok to long outlast any normal Spark.

Cheetor- Angel's equivalent of a brother. They bicker frequently.

Tigerhawk- becomes Angel's mentor for a short time. He teaches Angel how to use her Vok abilities.

Leaving Earth- When the Beast Wars are won, Angel goes to Cybertron, supposedly leaving Spirit behind. However, Spirit stows away on the shuttle.

Spirit's crisis- in the chaos that ensues after the Maximals' return to Cybertron, Angel is separated from the others and presumed dead from the virus Megatron unleashed. Angel comes back a while later, because Spirit has run out of food and is starving to death. Angel, with the help of Optimus Primal, splits her Spark in half (in the same manner Rampage's was) and donates part of it to Spirit, who is reformatted. Spirit cannot transform, however she can speak.

Reconciliation with Cheetor- during a battle, Angel and Cheetor are forced to work together, and the two finally set aside their differences and get along.

Author's comments: This summary leaves out the best parts of Angel's Saga: Angel's personality, the emotion, the humor, everything that makes me like Angel. This was written in case someone would rather skip right to The Chronicles of the Doomcat, which is NOT about Angel. I highly recommend you read Angel's Saga, because you're missing out by just reading this.
