First Story in After Earth Summary

 

The first in my After Earth series isn't good on account that it was my first story.  So, to save you reading a 'not so good' fic, read the summary so you can dive into the much better written second story in the series.  Even that isn't that great, but from third in the series onwards, it gets better and better and more and more enjoyable.  So here is a summary of the first fic in the series if you just can't bear it like me!  ;)

Whole summary - about a page and a bit.

What I did in this story was make the Beast Warriors go home during the first season.  A ship found the Maximals, they left except for Tigatron and Airazor who stayed behind and had two children, and the Predacons were captured and sent to prison.  That is the introduction to the story.  What the main focus in the story is, is when they all meet up sixteen years later.  Rattrap and Dinobot meet in a bar and arrange that they'll meet again at a Science fair Rattrap had heard of.  Rhinox is there at the science fair when they get there, but that is later.  Before that we have a scene where Cheetor, a computer games designer for the Cybernet (their form of the Internet), is testing out his latest game on a Games Zone website.  The thing is with the Cybernet, is, like in the movie The Matrix, bots can plug into the computer, leaves their bodies behind and travel with their minds through the net.  Cheetor meets a female bot who tries out that game with him, which is a stealth and target practice game and he finds out after having an online duel with her (that she beats him at!)  that she in fact trains at the War Centre in the area.  He learns from her that Dinobot owns the centre and he says he'll meet her there later.  

At the same time, a character called Eagleite who joined the Beast Wars shortly before its end, is worried about her son, Sivolon who keeps coming home filthy.  (She is widowed, her husband was killed in army practice).  she fears he may be attending the War Training Centre, (which she forbids because since the death of her husband, she despises war training and doesn't want him to meet the same fate as his father) and after school one day she follows him.

But before that we have had the scene where Cheetor has gone to the training centre.  He has a real live duel with her, but is again beaten and Dinobot arrives after the match and advises Cheetor not to challenge Diamond, (the femme bot) his daughter in the future, for she is simply too good.  Cheetor is dumbfounded, to say the least!  He learns of the Science Fare from Diamond, and promises to go with her.

The next day Eagleite follows Sivolon after school to the War Training Centre and meets up with her old crush (yes, she had a crush on Dinobot in the Beast Wars, which she never admitted so she was always and still is plain nasty to him) and screams at him for letting Sivolon play in the arena after matches without his mother's (her) consent.  She gives him her phone number and warn that if he ever comes again, she is to be told. 

Optimus, now a scout patroller around the planet in his new ship, hears of the Science Fare via television and when he hears Rhinox will be giving a demonstration of a new product of his, he vows to go and meet up with his old friend again.

The Science Fare comes and everyone heads to see Rhinox in action.  They all meet up and chat, finding out who has kids (only Dinobot, and he didn't marry and have children, he adopted Diamond when she was very young) and what each one does, give their numbers and promise to stay in contact.  All except Eagleite who didn't know about the fair.  The next day, when Sivolon comes home, clean from school after being told off the day before, Eagleite says to him that they can go to the training centre and watch Dinobot.  Obviously because she still has a crush on him and wants to see him, and that is where the story ends.  Sivolon later is told he can go to war training.
